Positioned for a sweep, Milwaukee brings a relentless offense against Griffin Jax. With Dustin May named as the starter, the Brewers are well-equipped to manage his innings and turn things over to a fresh, high-leverage relief corps.

The Milwaukee Brewers are 57% to beat the Tampa Bay Rays in tonight's World Series Game 4 on Polymarket, while Over 6.5 runs also sits at 57%.

Our Brewers vs. Rays prediction for tonight's game backs Milwaukee to finish the sweep. Griffin Jax is confirmed for Tampa Bay, but the Brewers can build a flexible pitching plan around their rested high-leverage arms.

Brewers vs Rays prediction: Brewers moneyline

For help understanding probabilities, see our odds calculator.

Buy the Milwaukee Brewers to 59%.

The Tampa Bay Rays can get swing-and-miss from Griffin Jax’s changeup, but Milwaukee can surround its right-handed bats with left-handed mashers Jake Bauers, Christian Yelich, and Brice Turang.

Milwaukee has locked in Dustin May as its starter, setting the stage for a bullpen-heavy approach to bridge the gap to the Brewers' high-leverage late-inning arms.

But the starting pitcher feels secondary, given the arms Milwaukee can deploy as the game deepens. The Brewers don't need a strong starter, as Aaron Ashby, Abner Uribe, and Trevor Megill all rested during Monday’s blowout.

Tampa Bay could have a quick hook for Jax in an elimination game, too. I trust the Brewers’ lineup and their options from the middle innings onward at this price.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Jax’s 4.27 expected ERA is well above his 3.53 ERA this season. The quality of contact he has allowed gives Milwaukee a path to damage even if he limits walks.

Who will win Brewers vs Rays?

Milwaukee Brewers: Milwaukee wins Game 4 to clinch the World Series. Its lineup is better positioned to keep pressure on Tampa Bay after Jax exits.

Brewers vs Rays combo

Jackson Chourio leads off ahead of Bauers, Yelich, and William Contreras, giving the Brewers several ways to build an inning against Jax or the reliever who follows him.

Tampa Bay’s scoring leg is the tougher call while Milwaukee’s starter remains unknown. If Drohan opens, though, the Brewers can change the matchup with right-handed relievers while still having Ashby, Uribe, and Megill available for high-leverage spots.

The Rays have rarely looked ready for the moment in this World Series, and I don't think that changes with so many premium arms available for Milwaukee.

Brewers vs Rays player prop: Jackson Chourio Over 1.5 bases

Buy Chourio Over 1.5 total bases to 48%.

The four hits in Game 3 are eye-catching, but Chourio’s season-long quality of contact makes the stronger case. He posted a .475 xSLG and a 12.3% barrel rate in 2026, including a .578 xSLG against four-seam fastballs. Jax threw that pitch 18.1% of the time and allowed a .491 xSLG with it.

Chourio is also projected to lead off, preserving his plate-appearance volume if Kevin Cash goes to the bullpen early. Tampa Bay can try to keep fastballs away from him, but the combination of contact quality and lineup position makes two total bases attainable.

Brewers vs Rays home run prediction: Jake Bauers

I like Bauers here to 18%.

He posted a
14.0% barrel rate, 52% hard-hit rate, and .467 xSLG this season. He was especially dangerous against four-seamers, producing a .536 xSLG on that pitch, while Jax allowed a .491 xSLG with his four-seamer.

Jax’s changeup is a tougher assignment, so this comes down to Bauers getting something he can lift before Tampa Bay changes pitchers. The expected second spot in Milwaukee’s order helps his chances of seeing enough pitches to get that opportunity.
