Where has this Toronto Blue Jays offense been all year? They exploded for 17 runs across their last two games and have a plus matchup against Daniel Lynch, who will be on another short leash tonight.

Toronto's offense is rolling right now, so I'm riding with them tonight in my Blue Jays vs. Royals predictions.

The Toronto Blue Jays walk into Kansas City as +100 underdogs at BET99, looking to take control of the final Wild Card spot in the American League.

Can they get the job done? Let’s dive into my MLB picks for Friday, Sept. 4, and find out.

Blue Jays vs Royals predictions

Blue Jays vs Royals best bet: Over 10 Runs

Where has this Toronto Blue Jays offense been all year? They exploded for 17 runs across their last two games against the Cleveland Guardians and have a plus matchup against Daniel Lynch, who will be on another short leash tonight. If the Jays can get to Lynch early, they should be able to eat the second-worst bullpen in the bigs alive (5.09 ERA).

On the other side, Jameson Taillon is making his first start back from injury after rocking a 11.88 ERA in July and 3.38 ERA in August. With a Jays bullpen that used four of its high-leverage arms yesterday afternoon, the Royals will do their part to get us across the line.

Covers COVERS INTEL: If the Blue Jays explode again, expect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to make his mark, as he's 4-for-8 against Lynch with a .438 xBA and a homer.

Blue Jays vs Royals same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladdy should be able to do some damage tonight with a strong history against Lynch. And while there will be runs scored and traffic on the bases from both teams, the Jays have an easier path to a win, especially if they can get into the Royals' struggling bullpen.

Outside of Vladdy, Alejandro Kirk (.299 xBA), Ernie Clement (.431 xBA), and George Springer (.288 xBA) will do their part in hitting the Over.

Blue Jays vs Royals home run pick: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+475)

Why can't I quit this dude? I mean, he has been incredibly efficient over his last two games, he's produced productive at-bats, and has great numbers against Lynch. Vladdy owns a .790 xSLG in this matchup, which should give us an opportunity. At this price, I have to hit the button on him.
