Give me Pat Freiermuth at 21% to score a touchdown on Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns, as I price him closer to 27% to find the end zone. The strength of this Browns defense is Denzel Ward on the outside, taking away throws to the boundary. Aaron Rodgers is obviously a very cerebral quarterback, so why would he force the ball into tight windows against one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL when he can focus his progressions over the middle of the field and pick apart these Browns linebackers as they try to cover Freiermuth? I don't think the Browns have a hybrid defender who can match the 6-foot-5 Freiermuth on a jump ball while also having the athleticism to match his speed on routes near the goal line.

Cleveland enters the short week with major issues on the offensive line. Poor pass protection is amplified by injuries, with the Browns potentially down center Elgton Jenkins and guard Teven Jenkins. Watson faces a new-look Pittsburgh defense under Patrick Graham, but the Steelers’ pass pressure and ball-hawking tendencies remain. They sit 15th in pressure rate with eight sacks and have three interceptions already (FYI: top corner Joey Porter Jr. could be back for TNF). All that chaos in a collapsing pocket pushes Watson to hurry throws into the teeth of this Steelers zone coverage. Mix in the potential for some wet weather on Thursday and I see Watson throwing some meatball subs (as Tom Brady would say). Interception probabilities range from 40% to one model calling for an INT. My forecast boiled down to a 70% shot that Pittsburgh picked off Watson in Week 4, considering game script has the underdog Cleveland pressing the passing from behind.

Indianapolis tight end Tyler Warren scored in the Colts’ first two games of the season and has a solid shot at finding the end zone in Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Warren will be a popular passing target for Jones, given Washington’s aggressive pass rush. The Commanders are dialing up the blitz at the fourth highest rate, leaving tight ends plenty of room to operate underneath the coverage for quick releases. Washington has allowed the seventh most yards to TEs but more notably, has given up five touchdowns to the position in only three games. Adding to those issues is an illness to SS Nick Cross, who didn’t make the trip to London. Warren has caught all three balls thrown his way inside the red zone, two of which ended in six points. Touchdown projections for Warren sit between 32% and 50%, with most models at 40%+.

Colts star Jonathan Taylor is sixth in rushing yards after three weeks despite Indianapolis handing it off on only 44% of snaps. This trip to London is the first time Indy has been a favorite, setting up a run-positive game script for Taylor. Washington’s run stop unit is running thin. Linebacker Leo Chenal is out for the season after a neck injury in Week 3 and LB Frankie Luvu is fighting a nagging groin ailment. That shorthanded group faces a Colts offensive line rated No. 6 in run block at PFF. Projections for Taylor range from 86 yards to 100, with most models at 90+ yards. My number comes out to 95+ yards from Indy’s stud RB on Sunday.

I have this at 3.08x, with Michael Wilson's TD at a fair price of 2.7x after a 17-target Week 3. His target share has been on the rise, from 19% in Week 1 to 27% in Week 2 and then 34% last week. He is getting fed, and that volume comes in a game against a New York defense that is still thin in the secondary and ranks near the bottom of the league in EPA/dropback. It's tough to find a WR1 at longer than 2.8x, especially one in a game where Arizona can score and might be able to win the time-of-possession battle against a Giants offense that is likely being run by Jameis Winston. It's a play on the price and volume.

The New York Giants had a short week to figure out just what do to without Jaxson Dart at quarterback in Week 3. The victory over Tennessee wasn’t pretty – and neither was the weather in New Jersey – but the G-Men gutted it out and should be commended. However, it feels like they’re being discounted hosting the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. This offense struggled last Sunday, in part to the abrupt swap at QB to Jameis Winston but also due to the rain and wind at MetLife Stadium. Winston has now had two weeks of first-team reps and the Giants hold a schedule edge at home in Week 4, with a clean forecast on tap. The Cardinals are playing back-to-back road games and their third away game in four weeks, traveling east for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff (11 a.m. MT).

I'm buying Khalil Shakir at 3.55x with a fair price of 3.2x. Trevor Lawrence might not have had a huge game last week against the Patriots, but he was perfect in the red zone, going 5-for-5 with three passing TDs, all coming to his wide receivers. Josh Allen has been quite greedy in the red zone with eight carries for five TDs and a 61% run rate inside the 20. With Allen's health already showing some concern after he picked up a knee injury late in Week 3, and turnovers being an issue, some more passing in tight could go a long way in the Bills' play calling. This season, Shakir has the most red-zone targets of all the Buffalo pass catchers and played the most snaps among the wide receivers in Week 3 at 71%. He hasn't looked great this year, but the snaps, red-zone usage, and hopeful change in RZ philosophy have me reaching here at this long price when DJ Moore is too short at 2.5x.

While the Patriots offense has yet to show a sign of life, the defense has been serviceable. New England ranks fifth in total defense and seventh overall in success percentage, which means they should be able to limit Allen enough to go Under the number. We've all seen Maye's struggles so far this season, and with the Bills front seven wreaking havoc through the early parts of the year, I'm leaning on Greg Rosseau and Co. to disrupt Maye enough to get the job done. These two teams have gone Under in two of the last three matchups in this divisional rivalry - points will be tough to come by.

I liked Braelon Allen with Breece Hall in the lineup. Now that Hall is out, Allen will have next to zero competition for work and should have all the red-zone opportunities. Allen already had six of the Jets' 14 running back red-zone opportunities this year, while Isaiah Davis has played zero offensive snaps this season and 56 on special teams. Even last year, the backup had just 43 carries in 16 games. I'm not sold on this Chicago defense that has allowed just 16 points over the last two weeks after allowing 37 to Carolina in the opener. If he is an 80/20 back, this TD price should be closer to 50/50.

The Jets defense struggled against a more dynamic offense from Detroit in Week 3, giving up 381 yards and 24 first downs while ranking 29th in EPA allowed per play. Former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and his play calling is a problem, even with Case Keenum under center. Chicago spread the ball around to eight different receivers while also mixing in unique run calls. With confidence in the QB3 rising, expect Johnson to take the training wheels off in Week 4.

Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson has seen his involvement in the Cowboys’ passing attack tick up the past two games, drawing a total of nine passes for seven receptions and a collective 66 yards. He’s run 82 routes on 128 total snaps, garnering a 10.9% target rate through three games, which is pretty good when you consider CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are on the field. Ferguson faces a Houston defense getting bullied by tight ends this season. The Texans have watched rival TEs catch 18 of 21 pass attempts for 213 yards – fourth most in the NFL. Houston’s linebacking corps is thin and its top coverage LBs are either injured or out in Week 4. Ferguson’s projections are very positive for Sunday, ranging from 25 yards to a ceiling of 38 yards. My number shakes out to 31+ receiving yards from the Dallas TE.

Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson isn’t the same receiving threat as CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens. But when all eyes are on those two WRs, Ferguson is making the most of his soft coverage. He’s scored three touchdowns in the past two games, catching all four red zone targets his way this season. Despite that activity in the end zone, Ferguson is still trading at a respectable return to find paydirt again in Week 4. His TD projections sit between 25% and 40% in Week 4 with most probabilities north of 30%.

I got this at 4.3x, and if both Terrance Ferguson and Colby Parkinson sit, this should have a fair price of 3.5x. The Rams use heavy tight-end sets at one of the highest rates in football, and even if Puka Nacua suits up, Tyler Higbee will have a ton of snaps. He took advantage of those snaps last week, seeing nine targets and leading the team with eight receptions and a score. He also has the same number of red-zone targets as Davante Adams. The Rams' PROE is climbing after a run-heavy game in Australia, and a negative game script could have Matthew Stafford throwing the ball 40-plus times again this week. I'm getting on this early, as Ferguson is likely out and Parkinson isn't practicing early in the week. Davis Allen to score at 9x is also worth a sniff.

The Eagles are a 3-point underdog in this week's contest, likely leading to a passing game script.. The 6th-fewest plays in the league have been run by the Philadelphia Eagles since the start of last season (only 54.6 per game on average).. Philadelphia's passing stats since the start of last season may be artificially decreased (and rushing stats inflated) on account of playing the most "bad weather" (rain, snow, or 15+ mph wind) games in football. We figure to be able to count on some regression with improved conditions this week.. The Los Angeles defensive ends project as the 4th-best DE corps in the league since the start of last season with their run defense.

The Buccaneers' offense has a massive downgrade with undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels under center, but that is certainly priced into this TD prop. Bucky Irving was as short as 56% just two weeks ago, but this still seems 5% too long against a bad Packers team that can't run the ball or stop it. Irving took some snaps off last week because of a back issue but has been fine at practice this week. If the rookie gets into the red zone, Irving will be leaned on heavily, and the Packers are giving up 1.3 rushing TDs to opposing RBs, which is the highest rate in football.

This is the longest Lamar Jackson has been for a TD since Week 1. He was 2.9x last week and 2.85x in Week 2, and I think anything at 3x or better is a buy this week vs. the Titans. The Baltimore team total sits at 27.5, and this might seem like a spot where Derrick Henry gets all the goal-line work, but the Ravens could be down to their No. 4 option at center, which is first-round guard Olaivavega Ioane. Tackle Ronnie Stanley and starting guard John Simpson also opened their practice windows in limited fashion. There could be some issues for a team that is running the ball 33% in the red zone. The Titans actually rank 11th in red-zone defense, and there could be a few more scrambles or designed runs inside the 20 on Sunday than expected.

Accounting for the game dynamics and the underlying traits of each team, this contest is projected by the projections to have only 124.6 total plays called: the 2nd-lowest number out of all the games this week.. The 3rd-lowest number of plays in football have been run by the Ravens since the start of last season (a measly 52.3 per game on average).. I got this at 3.66x and would play to 3.4x. The Bengals are a tight-end funnel. No team gives up more yards to opposing tight ends than Cincinnati at 92 yards per game, which is a full 10-plus yards more than the next team. Having both starting safeties limited to start the week only makes this spot for Brenton Strange even better. The No. 1 tight end had five targets last week, is playing 75% of the snaps (second among pass catchers), and is running 74% of the routes. There are a lot of mouths to feed in this Jacksonville offense, but Strange has a red-zone role, and the price makes him my favorite TD pick in this game, which could see both sides score 25-plus points.

Both teams have looked solid against the run, so the stage is set for Burrow and Trevor Lawrence to air it out on Sunday – and that game plan plays to both teams’ strengths.

The Dolphins are going to be more of a joke than usual this week without De'Von Achane, and Minnesota could be dealing with short fields all game. This is my long shot of the week.

Miami just lost its biggest weapon in Achane, leaving Malik Willis to face this insane Vikings defense with little help. Minnesota's blitz-hefty schemes are humming and face a Dolphins offensive line that gave up nine sacks in the opening two games. Willis ranks among the worst QBs when blitzed at PFF. Justin Jefferson's injury status doesn't worry me as much in Week 4. If he does play, this spread jumps to key number of -10 and beyond.

He has a 92% route share on the season, and his monstrous 43.3% target share leads all of football. I don't care who the home matchup is against. If I'm getting 2.7x or better with this target share, I'm saying yes every week. Kansas City has been an average defense against the position this year.

The breakeven number for Walker to find the end zone is -175, so there’s value here. He’s handled 51.3% of the touches and 71.4% of the carries for the Chiefs inside the red zone and scored four times through three games. Of course, Walker’s underlying numbers also pop with a league-high 4.66 yards after contact per carry and PFF elusive rating.

AJ Barner has four TDs over his last 10 games and was as short as 3.1x in the playoffs last year. Now that the Seahawks can't run the ball, Barner's scoring role is better than it was in the postseason. He leads all Seahawks with an 85% snap share on the season, runs the second-most routes (71%), and has a tush-push role on the goal line and in short yardage, which might be needed this week after the running backs gained one yard on three RZ carries last week. The injuries to Jadarian Price (LP) and George Holani (LP) only help.

At a -7-point disadvantage, the Chargers are enormous underdogs in this game, suggesting much more of an emphasis on moving the ball through the air than their usual game plan.. The Los Angeles Chargers offense has played at the 10th-fastest tempo in football (in a neutral context) this year, averaging 28.02 seconds per snap.. Opposing teams have averaged 35.6 pass attempts per game against the Seattle Seahawks defense since the start of last season: 4th-most in football.

The Niners have fattened up on cupcake opponents the past two weeks, facing Arizona and Miami, and honestly have been doing so since their winning streak to end 2025. The Broncos are a step up in competition, especially if the offensive progress made in the second half of Week 3 sticks. Denver was stuck in mud for its first 150 minutes of football but broke out for 30 points in the final two frames in the comeback win over the Rams Sunday. The vile electrical substation had a huge Week 3, claiming the souls of some of San Francisco’s top talents on both sides of the ball. Denver wins the battle in the trenches in Week 4.

Even against a strong Denver defense, the 49ers have the explosiveness to create scoring opportunities. It helps that they own the best red-zone offense in football - scoring 90% of their trips inside the 20. Denver shouldn't need a huge offensive performance to get this game over the number, either. Nix showed flashes on Sunday Night Football in his 16-0 comeback victory, and is in a groove after two straight wins.

Jalen Coker was practicing on the side at practice on Thursday after exiting Week 3, and Xavier Legette was a DNP. The Panthers are thin at wide receiver against one of the worst pass defenses in football. The Lions rank 29th in EPA/dropback and success rate, and the injuries to Kerby Joseph (out), Brian Branch (out), and DJ Reed (questionable) only make this more of a pass funnel. Brycen Tremayne is giving great value at his 8.5x price, which should be closer to 5x. He played 81% of the snaps last week and ran 76% of the routes while getting six targets for 83 yards. If Coker and Legette miss out, this could realistically shorten up to 30%.

Behind Gibbs is third-year RB Sione Vaki, who saw his snap share spike to 31% in Week 2. Head coach Dan Campbell praised Vaki after the win against New York and we have seen him get a red-zone carry already this season. Detroit is trying to be smart about Gibbs’ wear and tear, which gives Vaki garbage time gains on SNF. The Panthers have been pushed around on the ground, giving up the most rushing yards to RBs through three games. Carolina also collapses in the red zone, allowing foes to score on a league-high 85.7% trips inside the 20-yard line, with six rushing TDs against.

I got this at 3.3x and have this at 3x. Juwan Johnson got 20% of the targets in a 40+ dropback outing last night, bringing in all eight of his targets and scoring twice. He has six red-zone targets for three TDs this year and ranks second at the position in targets inside the 20. Travis Etienne is injured, which could boost the passing volume, and the Falcons rank in the bottom third of the league in TDs allowed to tight ends. Johnson has become the No. 2 pass option in an offense that ranks third in passing yards per game.

New Orleans enters Week 4 among the worst run stop units in the land. The Falcons’ running back room of Robinson & Robinson (Bijan and Brian) will chew up gains on the ground and dominate possession, limiting NOLA’s time with the football. When Saints do get a crack at it, they’ll be looking to press the pass against what is shaping up as one of the better secondaries in the NFL. Atlanta owns the third lowest success rate per dropback allowed and ranks Top 10 in several key pass defense analytics. Tyler Shough is playing off his ass right now, sitting second in total passing yards (but not a darling in the advanced stats), which means regression is about to go marching in for the Saints QB.

For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.

The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.

How to Use NFL Computer Picks

The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.

You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.

As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.

Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.

We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:

Moneyline

NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.

For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.

We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.

Spread

While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.

To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.

There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.

You can read more about NFL spreads here.

Totals (Over/Under)

If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.

As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
