Give me Pat Freiermuth at 21% to score a touchdown on Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns, as I price him closer to 27% to find the end zone. The strength of this Browns defense is Denzel Ward on the outside, taking away throws to the boundary. Aaron Rodgers is obviously a very cerebral quarterback, so why would he force the ball into tight windows against one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL when he can focus his progressions over the middle of the field and pick apart these Browns linebackers as they try to cover Freiermuth? I don't think the Browns have a hybrid defender who can match the 6-foot-5 Freiermuth on a jump ball while also having the athleticism to match his speed on routes near the goal line.

Cleveland enters the short week with major issues on the offensive line. Poor pass protection is amplified by injuries, with the Browns potentially down center Elgton Jenkins and guard Teven Jenkins. Watson faces a new-look Pittsburgh defense under Patrick Graham, but the Steelers’ pass pressure and ball-hawking tendencies remain. They sit 15th in pressure rate with eight sacks and have three interceptions already (FYI: top corner Joey Porter Jr. could be back for TNF). All that chaos in a collapsing pocket pushes Watson to hurry throws into the teeth of this Steelers zone coverage. Mix in the potential for some wet weather on Thursday and I see Watson throwing some meatball subs (as Tom Brady would say). Interception probabilities range from 40% to one model calling for an INT. My forecast boiled down to a 70% shot that Pittsburgh picked off Watson in Week 4, considering game script has the underdog Cleveland pressing the passing from behind.

Indianapolis tight end Tyler Warren scored in the Colts’ first two games of the season and has a solid shot at finding the end zone in Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Warren will be a popular passing target for Jones, given Washington’s aggressive pass rush. The Commanders are dialing up the blitz at the fourth highest rate, leaving tight ends plenty of room to operate underneath the coverage for quick releases. Washington has allowed the seventh most yards to TEs but more notably, has given up five touchdowns to the position in only three games. Adding to those issues is an illness to SS Nick Cross, who didn’t make the trip to London. Warren has caught all three balls thrown his way inside the red zone, two of which ended in six points. Touchdown projections for Warren sit between 32% and 50%, with most models at 40%+.

Colts star Jonathan Taylor is sixth in rushing yards after three weeks despite Indianapolis handing it off on only 44% of snaps. This trip to London is the first time Indy has been a favorite, setting up a run-positive game script for Taylor. Washington’s run stop unit is running thin. Linebacker Leo Chenal is out for the season after a neck injury in Week 3 and LB Frankie Luvu is fighting a nagging groin ailment. That shorthanded group faces a Colts offensive line rated No. 6 in run block at PFF. Projections for Taylor range from 86 yards to 100, with most models at 90+ yards. My number comes out to 95+ yards from Indy’s stud RB on Sunday.

I have this at 3.08x, with Michael Wilson's TD at a fair price of 2.7x after a 17-target Week 3. His target share has been on the rise, from 19% in Week 1 to 27% in Week 2 and then 34% last week. He is getting fed, and that volume comes in a game against a New York defense that is still thin in the secondary and ranks near the bottom of the league in EPA/dropback. It's tough to find a WR1 at longer than 2.8x, especially one in a game where Arizona can score and might be able to win the time-of-possession battle against a Giants offense that is likely being run by Jameis Winston. It's a play on the price and volume.

The New York Giants had a short week to figure out just what do to without Jaxson Dart at quarterback in Week 3. The victory over Tennessee wasn’t pretty – and neither was the weather in New Jersey – but the G-Men gutted it out and should be commended. However, it feels like they’re being discounted hosting the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. This offense struggled last Sunday, in part to the abrupt swap at QB to Jameis Winston but also due to the rain and wind at MetLife Stadium. Winston has now had two weeks of first-team reps and the Giants hold a schedule edge at home in Week 4, with a clean forecast on tap. The Cardinals are playing back-to-back road games and their third away game in four weeks, traveling east for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff (11 a.m. MT).

I'm buying Khalil Shakir at 3.55x with a fair price of 3.2x. Trevor Lawrence might not have had a huge game last week against the Patriots, but he was perfect in the red zone, going 5-for-5 with three passing TDs, all coming to his wide receivers. Josh Allen has been quite greedy in the red zone with eight carries for five TDs and a 61% run rate inside the 20. With Allen's health already showing some concern after he picked up a knee injury late in Week 3, and turnovers being an issue, some more passing in tight could go a long way in the Bills' play calling. This season, Shakir has the most red-zone targets of all the Buffalo pass catchers and played the most snaps among the wide receivers in Week 3 at 71%. He hasn't looked great this year, but the snaps, red-zone usage, and hopeful change in RZ philosophy have me reaching here at this long price when DJ Moore is too short at 2.5x.

While the Patriots offense has yet to show a sign of life, the defense has been serviceable. New England ranks fifth in total defense and seventh overall in success percentage, which means they should be able to limit Allen enough to go Under the number. We've all seen Maye's struggles so far this season, and with the Bills front seven wreaking havoc through the early parts of the year, I'm leaning on Greg Rosseau and Co. to disrupt Maye enough to get the job done. These two teams have gone Under in two of the last three matchups in this divisional rivalry - points will be tough to come by.

The Jets defense struggled against a more dynamic offense from Detroit in Week 3, giving up 381 yards and 24 first downs while ranking 29th in EPA allowed per play. Former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and his play calling is a problem, even with Case Keenum under center. Chicago spread the ball around to eight different receivers while also mixing in unique run calls. With confidence in the QB3 rising, expect Johnson to take the training wheels off in Week 4.

The highest number of plays in the NFL have been called by the Chicago Bears since the start of last season (a colossal 61.2 per game on average).. The opposing side have run for the most adjusted yards in football (144 per game) versus the Jets defense since the start of last season.. When it comes to the linebackers' role in stopping the run, New York's collection of LBs has been atrocious since the start of last season, profiling as the 2nd-worst in the NFL. in the NFL.

I have hit the Jake Ferguson TD in back-to-back weeks. One would think it's time to bail, but I'm getting 4.3x this week indoors vs. the Texans, after I was getting 3.7x last week and 3.4x in Week 2. How is this TD price going the other way? I understand it's the Texans, and the projected team total for the Cowboys is a little lower this week, but you can't run against the Texans, and their passing defense ranks in the bottom third of the league in EPA/dropback. Last week, I said the Ferguson TD fair price was around 3.4x, and I stand by that. Ferguson has more red-zone targets than CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

Accounting for their underlying play style and matchup dynamics, the projections expect the Texans to pass on 60.5% of their opportunities: the 7th-greatest clip among all teams this week.. The model projects this game to have the 3rd-largest volume of plays run out of all the games this week at 132.5 plays, based on the approaches of each team and game dynamics.. The 2nd-most plays in the league have been called by the Houston Texans since the start of last season (a massive 61.0 per game on average).. This game will be played in a dome—meaning zero wind, higher pass volume, higher TD potential, and better passing efficiency.. This week, C.J. I got this at 4.3x, and if both Terrance Ferguson and Colby Parkinson sit, this should have a fair price of 3.5x. The Rams use heavy tight-end sets at one of the highest rates in football, and even if Puka Nacua suits up, Tyler Higbee will have a ton of snaps. He took advantage of those snaps last week, seeing nine targets and leading the team with eight receptions and a score. He also has the same number of red-zone targets as Davante Adams. The Rams' PROE is climbing after a run-heavy game in Australia, and a negative game script could have Matthew Stafford throwing the ball 40-plus times again this week. I'm getting on this early, as Ferguson is likely out and Parkinson isn't practicing early in the week. Davis Allen to score at 9x is also worth a sniff.

This is the longest Lamar Jackson has been for a TD since Week 1. He was 2.9x last week and 2.85x in Week 2, and I think anything at 3x or better is a buy this week vs. the Titans. The Baltimore team total sits at 27.5, and this might seem like a spot where Derrick Henry gets all the goal-line work, but the Ravens could be down to their No. 4 option at center, which is first-round guard Olaivavega Ioane. Tackle Ronnie Stanley and starting guard John Simpson also opened their practice windows in limited fashion. There could be some issues for a team that is running the ball 33% in the red zone. The Titans actually rank 11th in red-zone defense, and there could be a few more scrambles or designed runs inside the 20 on Sunday than expected.

I got this at 3.66x and would play to 3.4x. The Bengals are a tight-end funnel. No team gives up more yards to opposing tight ends than Cincinnati at 92 yards per game, which is a full 10-plus yards more than the next team. Having both starting safeties limited to start the week only makes this spot for Brenton Strange even better. The No. 1 tight end had five targets last week, is playing 75% of the snaps (second among pass catchers), and is running 74% of the routes. There are a lot of mouths to feed in this Jacksonville offense, but Strange has a red-zone role, and the price makes him my favorite TD pick in this game, which could see both sides score 25-plus points.

Miami just lost its biggest weapon in Achane, leaving Malik Willis to face this insane Vikings defense with little help. Minnesota's blitz-hefty schemes are humming and face a Dolphins offensive line that gave up nine sacks in the opening two games. Willis ranks among the worst QBs when blitzed at PFF. Justin Jefferson's injury status doesn't worry me as much in Week 4. If he does play, this spread jumps to key number of -10 and beyond.

The Dolphins are a huge 11-point underdog in this game, likely leading to an extreme passing game script.. The pass games of both teams (including both volume and effectiveness) stand to benefit from the still "weather" conditions (meaning no wind) inside this dome, while rush volume may go down.. The Minnesota Vikings pass defense has been particularly weak when opposing wide receivers have gotten into space, surrendering an average of 0.86 yards-after-the-catch since the start of last season: the 2nd-most in the NFL.

At a -4.5-point disadvantage, the Raiders are underdogs in this game, implying more of an emphasis on throwing than their normal game plan.. Given their underlying strategic approach and matchup dynamics, the model projects the Raiders to pass on 62.0% of their downs: the 3rd-highest clip on the slate this week.. Accounting for the game dynamics and the underlying play styles of each team, this game is forecasted by the predictive model to see 128.8 offensive plays called: the 4th-highest number out of all the games this week.. This game will be played in a dome—meaning zero wind, higher pass volume, higher touchdown potential, and increased passing efficiency.. Kirk Cousins's 67.4% Adjusted Completion% this season reflects a substantial growth in his passing accuracy over last season's 60.8% rate.

The Niners have fattened up on cupcake opponents the past two weeks, facing Arizona and Miami, and honestly have been doing so since their winning streak to end 2025. The Broncos are a step up in competition, especially if the offensive progress made in the second half of Week 3 sticks. Denver was stuck in mud for its first 150 minutes of football but broke out for 30 points in the final two frames in the comeback win over the Rams Sunday. The vile electrical substation had a huge Week 3, claiming the souls of some of San Francisco’s top talents on both sides of the ball. Denver wins the battle in the trenches in Week 4.

Even against a strong Denver defense, the 49ers have the explosiveness to create scoring opportunities. It helps that they own the best red-zone offense in football - scoring 90% of their trips inside the 20. Denver shouldn't need a huge offensive performance to get this game over the number, either. Nix showed flashes on Sunday Night Football in his 16-0 comeback victory, and is in a groove after two straight wins.

Give me the Carolina Panthers at +3.5, as I project them closer to a 2.5-point underdog on Sunday Night Football. The Lions' pass defense and secondary are so bad that they actually have me comfortably backing Bryce Young at quarterback. If Geno Smith can walk into Ford Field and go 31-for-37 for 321 yards and three touchdowns on the road, Young should be able to hit some explosive plays off deep crossing routes against this Lions secondary. It may only be a one-point difference between my projection and the market number, but being able to get the key number of 3 with the hook is exactly why I'm hitting the button on the Panthers.

Darren Waller is trading at 24% to score a touchdown, and I'm hitting the button on that number as I price Waller closer to 33% to find the end zone on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions. Hear me out. This feels random, but the Lions have already allowed six receiving touchdowns to tight ends this season, and we've only played three weeks. The red-zone coverages Kelvin Sheppard utilizes often isolate a linebacker on a tight end, which sets up well for Waller, who grades out as one of the better tight ends at creating separation against linebackers. All signs point to Waller having an opportunity to win his matchup when the Panthers get into the red zone.

New Orleans enters Week 4 among the worst run stop units in the land. The Falcons’ running back room of Robinson & Robinson (Bijan and Brian) will chew up gains on the ground and dominate possession, limiting NOLA’s time with the football. When Saints do get a crack at it, they’ll be looking to press the pass against what is shaping up as one of the better secondaries in the NFL. Atlanta owns the third lowest success rate per dropback allowed and ranks Top 10 in several key pass defense analytics. Tyler Shough is playing off his ass right now, sitting second in total passing yards (but not a darling in the advanced stats), which means regression is about to go marching in for the Saints QB.

For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.

The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.

How to Use NFL Computer Picks

The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.

You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.

As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.

Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.

We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:

Moneyline

NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.

For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.

We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.

Spread

While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.

To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.

There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.

You can read more about NFL spreads here.

Totals (Over/Under)

If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.

As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
