Jadarian Price didn't catch a lot of balls at Notre Dame, but new OC Brian Fleury could change that. He comes from the Kyle Shanahan school, where Christian McCaffrey had a higher target share than CeeDee Lamb last season. Sam Darnold has talked about Price's pass-catching skills, and so has his own defense after Price burned them deep at 7-on-7s. If the Seahawks can't get the first-round rookie going on the ground against a tough New England run unit, look for Fleury to get Price going in the pass game. Kenneth Walker saw 3+ targets in nine of his last 11 games last season, and 3+ grabs is certainly live Wednesday. With Walker gone and Zach Charbonnet out, Price will get a ton of snaps and projects for 1.89 receptions. I'd play this to -105.

Second-year RB TreVeyon Henderson is questionable after missing practice with a bum ankle. That news has set Rhamondre Stevenson props on fire, with his carries, yards and TD markets making major moves the past 48 hours. While the inflated totals on those props may be too much, I still like Stevenson to score a touchdown in Week 1. He was a beast in the red zone at the end of last season, not only running it in but also catching passes for six points. He also snagged a 7-yard toss for a TD versus Seattle in the Super Bowl. His projections sit as high as a 53% shot at scoring a TD in Week 1 and even if Henderson does play, Stevenson is still the top option in the RZ.

Buy to 53.5%. Bought at 51%. Kyle Shanahan has already said George Kittle (Achilles) will have a monitored workload Thursday, as he just came off the PUP list two weeks ago. That could push him into more of a red-zone and third-down role rather than a full-time workload. Jake Tonges could potentially play more snaps than Kittle, and it's interesting that the backup tight end doesn't have a reception market yet, but that could change closer to kickoff. There are also a lot of other bodies in this offense that need looks, and if San Francisco is playing with the lead, Kittle could be doing more watching than playing.

The ability to grab the Rams at -3.5 (52%) at Kalshi is a win compared to what we're seeing elsewhere, where the Rams are trading closer to 54% at -3.5 or the line has already moved to -4. I make the Rams closer to a 5-point favorite in this spot, so there is definitely an edge to exploit at -3.5 (52%) at Kalshi. It's also easy to see why the market is moving toward Rams -4. Aaron Donald won't be making the trip, but I think the Rams' other offseason acquisitions, Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, could play a huge role. Garrett, along with Poona Ford, should be able to generate pressure up the middle, while McDuffie has the ability to completely suffocate Mike Evans on the perimeter.

The gap between Colston Loveland's TD market implied probability (32%) and his actual chance of scoring (fair around 40%) is a big Week 1 advantage for early bettors. Loveland averaged 66 yards per game after Week 8 last season while adding touchdowns in five of those games (six total). Wide receiver Rome Odunze (leg) suffered his injury last Thursday and didn't practice Tuesday, while Luther Burden has been out for about a month with a groin injury and is working his way back to practice this week. It's the perfect spot at the wrong price for Caleb Williams' favorite target over the second half of last season. Williams finished last year with the third-highest deep-throw rate, and Loveland, who doesn't drop balls and played 40% of his snaps in the slot or out wide, could take full advantage as the healthiest pass catcher on the roster.

Lamar Jackson faces a blast from AFC North past when he and the Ravens take on the Colts and DC Lou Anarumo in Week 1. During his tenue with Cincinnati, Anarumo couldn’t slow down Jackson consistently and the Ravens QB chewed up his blitz-heavy schemes. Jackson recorded several multi-TD passing games versus those Bengals teams and constantly ranks out among the best QBs vs. blitz in the NFL. New Baltimore OC Declan Doyle got to work against two blitz-centric foes in joint practices this summer – Washington and Minnesota – ironing out the wrinkles against similar pressure before this Week 1 outing. I like Lamar to make Indy pay with two or more passing TDs.

A passing game script is suggested by the Colts being a -3.5-point underdog in this week's game.. Opposing offenses have played at the 10th-quickest tempo in football (context-neutralized) against the Colts defense last year, averaging 28.48 seconds per snap.. The passing games of both teams (in terms of both volume and efficiency) figure to benefit from the still "weather" conditions (meaning no wind) inside this dome, while rush volume may slide.. The Baltimore Ravens defense has been a well-known pass funnel last year, inciting opposing teams to attempt the 2nd-most passes in the league (36.2 per game) last year.. Alec Pierce has run a route on 89.2% of his offense's dropbacks last year, ranking him in the 85th percentile among wideouts.

The projections expect this game to see the 2nd-highest number of plays run on the slate this week at 131.9 plays, based on the play styles of each team and game dynamics.. Michael Pittman has run a route on 89.1% of his team's dropbacks last year, ranking him in the 84th percentile when it comes to wide receivers.. In this contest, Michael Pittman is projected by the model to finish in the 89th percentile among wideouts with 7.6 targets.. Bought at x3.7. Fair at x3.15. The Jaguars are trying to get Brian Thomas going after the disaster that was last season, and those moves might revive the burner. Thomas was useless over the middle under first-year offensive coach Liam Coen who is pushing him to the “X” receiver and using him more like the vertical threat he was in his rookie year. Travis Hunter is still not a major threat so last year’s setup with Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington will still be the norm for Thomas who has had a leadup to the season. Cleveland is obviously without Mykles Garrett, but this is still a great defense, however, it’s not a bad one to attack early as it will be learning a new scheme under first-year DC Mike Rutenberg who replaces Jim Schwartz after he bailed on the organization after not getting the HC job. If he looks good in Week 1, bettors will never see a payout like this all season.

Are you telling me I can get a potential 20-touch running back facing the Bengals at better than 50% to score a touchdown on Sunday? Sean Tucker has already been labeled a game-time decision by head coach Todd Bowles, which leaves Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell atop a Tampa backfield that lost Rachaad White. Injuries have hurt Irving in the past, but he's good to go in a game carrying a Week 1-high 51.5-point total. There are changes on the Bengals' defense, but this was the worst tackling team in football a year ago. Cincinnati allowed the most yards after catch per reception and 162 total yards per game to opposing running backs. This could be one of the longest probabilities we see all year for an RB1 to score against the Bengals.

The Texans were active in the offseason, bolstering their dog poo O-line and adding a steady rushing threat in David Montgomery. QB C.J. The projections expect the Arizona Cardinals to be the 2nd-most pass-oriented offense among all teams this week with a 61.9% pass rate, based on their underlying strategic approach and matchup dynamics.. The Cardinals have called the 7th-most plays in the NFL last year, averaging a monstrous 59.6 plays per game.. The passing attacks of both teams (including both volume and effectiveness) ought to benefit from the still weather conditions (1-mph wind) being projected in this game, while rush volume may decline.. Last year, the poor Chargers defense has conceded the most yards-after-the-catch in the league to opposing running backs: a staggering 0.00 YAC.

Murray has a good idea of the defense he’ll face in Week 1. He played it every day in practice for the past three years. Former Arizona coach Jonathan Gannon is the new defensive coordinator in Green Bay. On top of being able to find Jefferson and Jordan Addison for deep TD connections, Murray’s ability to make plays outside the pocket gives O’Connell a new twist inside the 20-yard line. He has excellent jump ball options in burly WR Jauan Jennings and TE T.J. Hockenson. Projections tick as high as 1.6 TD passes and isn’t here just to hand the ball off. I’d play his 2+ touchdowns as high as 48%.

Let’s not get fancy here. I’ll trade Justin Jefferson to find the end zone up to 40% in Week 1. His current TD market is tempered due to the mystery around new QB Kyler Murray and just two touchdown strikes in 2025. Despite poor passing, J.J. still ranked 10th versus zone coverage in 2025 at PFF and will face those schemes from new Packers DC Jonathan Gannon. Murray’s mobility and arm strength is excellent against zone and he’ll look to get Jefferson going early. Projections for Jefferson give between a 40% and 50% chance of “griddy” on Sunday.

I bought this at 10.5x with a fair price of 7.5x. This one is all about the price, as 9.5% or 10.5x is simply far too much for a starting wide receiver on any team, let alone one facing the Dolphins. Jack Bech secured the No. 3 receiver spot behind Tre Tucker and Jalen Nailor. He's projected for just a couple of catches and 23 yards, but this is the price of a WR5, a player likely to see 10-15 snaps, not someone who is likely to see 30+ like Tyler Lockett did a season ago. This is a long shot for a reason, but one that should be priced closer to 6.5x. If you want more action in this game, keep an eye on the Raiders' tight end usage, as Klint Kubiak used 12 personnel at the fifth-highest rate last year. Michael Mayer (7x for a TD) could see a bigger role.

The predictive model expects the Miami Dolphins to be the most run-centric team on the slate this week with a 48.4% run rate, accounting for their underlying traits and matchup dynamics.. In this week's game, De'Von Achane is projected by the projections to land in the 96th percentile when it comes to RBs with 17.9 carries.. De'Von Achane has received 62.9% of his team's carries last year, putting him in the 93rd percentile among RBs.

I’m anticipating Diggs serving as a security blanket for quarterback Jayden Daniels early and often in the season opener, and with Washington a healthy underdog, the Commanders won’t have the luxury of abandoning the passing attack. Diggs was also sneaky good last season and finished 14th in PFF receiving grade while pacing the league in reception percentage among wideouts with at least 50 targets.

Goedert stands to see an uptick in targets in the passing attack early in the season after go-to wide receiver A.J. Brown was traded to the New England Patriots during the offseason. The go-to tight end posted a career-high 135.0 NFL passer rating when targeted by quarterback Jalen Hurts last season, and Goedert also had his highest aDoT (7.5) since the 2021 campaign. So, with the Commanders allowing the highest yards per target to opposing tight ends last year, I’m expecting Goedert to soar Over this total in Week 1.

With the Giants in transition mode under new head coach John Harbaugh, I’m happy to take the Cowboys below the key number of 3. The Dallas offense has oodles of continuity after averaging 27.7 points per game last season, and the offseason commitment to bringing in talent on the defensive side of the ball will provide an upgrade to a stop unit that allowed the third-most yards and most points per game.  I also anticipate this game closing with Dallas as at least a -3 favorite ahead of Sunday Night Football.

New Giants coach John Harbaugh blasted his team’s pass protection after QB1 Jaxson Dart was sent to the medical tent in the team’s exhibition opener (Dart was cleared of any injury). He’ll need to tighten the bolts before facing Dallas on SNF in Week 1. The Cowboys ranked tops in pressure on passers last season, leading to the No. 1 hurry rate and the second most QB hits (also allowed third most rushing yards to QBs). As a dangerous dual-threat, Dart will see his number called plenty of times in this revamped Ravens-inspired offense and will pick up bonus rushing yards as he scrambles away from pressure.

Distractions in sports tend to be overrated, but the Kansas City Chiefs have A LOT going on headed into the new season. It's fair to question what version of Patrick Mahomes we'll get in Week 1 after tearing his ACL and LCL late last season. The fact that he's coming of a bad season (by his standards) and will be playing one of the league's top defenses adds to those concerns. Denver is coming off a season where they went 5-1 ATS as an underdog. Expect them to be ready to compete and keep this game within the number against a Chiefs team that could need time to find its footing.

Patrick Mahomes is trending toward playing in Week 1 after suffering an ACL injury last season. And the schedule makers did the best they could to get No. 15 back on the field, giving him an extra day of rest. He likely won't be the full 100% version of Mahomes, however, and the Denver Broncos defense remains among the elite under coordinator Vance Joseph, especially against the pass. The Broncos have done an excellent job shutting down Mahomes the past two seasons, and that respect shows in this sub-44 total.

For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.

The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.

How to Use NFL Computer Picks

The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.

You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.

As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.

Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.

We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:

Moneyline

NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.

For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.

We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.

Spread

While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.

To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.

There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.

You can read more about NFL spreads here.

Totals (Over/Under)

If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.

As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
