Our Jalen Hurts props expect this Eagles passing game to show up and show out against the Giants on Thursday Night Football.

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to bounce back from their first loss this season as they head to MetLife Stadium to face off against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

The Giants present a great spot for the Birds to get back on track, though, as New York is 1-4 with a 22-9 home loss to the Chiefs in Week 3. The Jalen Hurts odds are always worth keeping an eye on, and this primetime matchup is no different.

My Eagles vs. Giants predictions and NFL picks for Thursday, October 9, expect the Eagles quarterback to pick apart the G-Men's poor passing defense.

Jalen Hurts prop pick

Jalen Hurts best bet: 200+ passing yards (+100 at bet365)

The New York Giants have allowed 237.2 passing yards per game this season, ninth-most in the league. Every quarterback that has played against New York has reached the 200-yard mark, with Dak Prescott racking up a season-high 361 yards against the Giants in Week 2.

Jalen Hurts has been throwing the ball more in recent weeks. After 23 and 22 attempts to begin the season, he’s had 32, 24, and 38 in the last three weeks.

There has been some rumored animosity inside this Philadelphia Eagles offense, particularly among the wide receivers, and this TNF matchup against the Giants might just be the perfect time to put that to rest.

Even if the Eagles take an early lead, they shouldn’t take their foot off the gas after blowing a 17-3 third-quarter lead last week. Hurts may not go too far beyond 200 yards, but at even money, this is one of the best bets on the board.

Jalen Hurts same-game parlay

Jalen Hurts 200+ passing yards

Jalen Hurts 2+ passing touchdowns

Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown

It’s going to be all Hurts all the time on Thursday night. He’s passed for at least two touchdowns in three straight weeks, including three scoring strikes against the Rams.

The dual-threat quarterback also had four rushing touchdowns through three weeks before being held out of the endzone in the last two. I expect that to change as Hurts & Co. make a statement under the TNF lights.
