The Jacksonville Jaguars have climbed to -7.5 favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Even with the massive line move, my favorite Eagles vs. Jaguars predictions and NFL picks expect Jacksonville to put on a clinic against Philly in Week 5.
- Editor's note: Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was ruled out for Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury suffered last week.
TOP Pick
Eagles vs Jaguars prediction: Jaguars -7.5
Jacksonville Jaguars -4.5 was my first trade of the week, and I’m comfortable playing it to -7.5.
The talent mismatch in this matchup is going to be on full display Sunday. Jacksonville is superior on both sides of the ball by both EPA per play and DVOA, and the Jags even have the better quarterback and head coach.
The Philadelphia Eagles are also dealing with injuries to key starters on offense and defense, while Jacksonville only has minor concerns in its secondary.
With Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts throwing for career-low yards per attempt (6.3) and completion percentage (59.6%), expect the Jags to pull away.

Eagles vs Jaguars combo
The Eagles have surrendered 56 passing completions and the fifth-highest dropback success rate over the past two weeks, so Jags QB Trevor Lawrence is set up to play pitch and catch Sunday.
Lawrence has thrown for a career-high 69.2 completion percentage and 77.3 adjusted completion percentage to start the year.
Philly has also allowed the fifth-highest rushing success rate and a healthy 4.13 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Jags No. 2 running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. has made the most of his opportunities this season, averaging 4.2 yards per carry while ranking eighth in rushing efficiency and 12th in yards after contact per carry.
Rodriguez has also rushed for at least 35 yards in back-to-back games and could see an even bigger workload spelling lead back Bhayshul Tuten if Jacksonville builds a comfortable lead.
Eagles vs Jaguars combo
- Jaguars -7.5
- Trevor Lawrence 20+ passing completions
- Chris Rodriguez Jr. 25+ rushing yards
Eagles vs Jaguars touchdown scorer: Bhayshul Tuten
The Eagles surrendered two rushing touchdowns in Week 4, while Tuten has been a force for the Jaguars, averaging an elite 4.02 yards after contact per carry and boasting a 109.6 PFF elusive rating.
He’s also found the end zone twice while handling 56.3% of the red-zone rushes for Jacksonville, including nine across the past three games.
I recommend Tuten to score up to 54%.
