Jalen Hurts will lean on "old reliable," Dallas Goedert, amid uncertainty in the Eagles' lineup this Sunday, per our NFL expert.

Set your alarms early, as Sunday's NFL slate kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET with the Eagles and Jaguars meeting at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

The Eagles have a crisis in their backfield due to injuries, but welcome Dallas Goedert back to the fold, so he's a vital part of my Eagles vs. Jaguars anytime touchdown scorer predictions.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have built a solid running back partnership in the backfield, and both are a threat to score.

Those players headline my free NFL picks for October 12.

Eagles touchdown pick: Dallas Goedert

Kalshi probability: 22%

If the game follows the script outlined in Neil Parker's Eagles vs. Jaguars predictions, the Philadelphia Eagles will find themselves in a spot where Jalen Hurts has to throw often.

He will be happy to see his tight end back in the lineup. Dallas Goedert had a strong start to the season before his injury, catching four-of-five targets for 77 yards and a pair of scores.

Despite his second-quarter injury in the second game, Goedert's three red-zone targets leave him just one shy of the team lead for the season.

His 15 red-zone targets and nine targets inside the 10-yard line led the Eagles last season, and his 22% probability is a value here.

This is playable to 29%.

Jaguars touchdown pick: Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Kalshi probability: 21%

Bhayshul Tuten will likely score (more on him in a moment) for the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, that game script combined with Chris Rodriguez Jr's 21% probability to score makes Jacksonville's second-string back a better overall play.

A strong Jaguars lead means more running the ball after halftime, and Liam Coen's familiarity with him from their days at Kentucky means he trusts his backup. That's likely why he has as many carries inside the 10-yd line this year (three) as Tuten does.

He's scored in each of the last two games, and I'm backing him to make it three in a row.

I'm playing this to 27%.

First touchdown scorer pick: Bhayshul Tuten

Kalshi probability: 16%

The Jaguars have scored the game's opening touchdown in each of their four games this season.

On the drives producing those scores, Tuten has touched the ball on 14 of their 31 snaps.

That includes last week against the Bengals. Their opening touchdown drive began inside Cincinnati's 20-yard line and went five plays, and Tuten got the ball on the first four snaps.

The Eagles rank 23rd in rush EPA/play and I'm backing Tuten to find paydirt before anybody else up to 21%.

Long-shot touchdown pick: Josh Cameron

Kalshi probability: 11%

Josh Cameron ranks sixth in route runs for the Jaguars, averaging just 7.0 per contest. But when called upon, he's answered.

Two of his six targets have come inside the red zone, catching both and scoring each time.

With the way Lawrence is distributing the ball so evenly, I like this play up to 15%.

Eagles vs Jaguars touchdown combo

Bhayshul Tuten

Jalen Hurts

This is the other way we back a Tuten touchdown. His workload this season makes him a threat to score anytime, and he's already carried the ball nine times inside the red zone for the Jaguars.

Jalen Hurts is Philadelphia's biggest goal-line threat with Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby out. The retirement of Lane Thomas also means he's more likely to take off when pressured.

Additionally, Hurts has run the ball 13 times in the red zone this season. That accounts for 43.3% of their rushing attempts inside the 20-yard line.
