The Chicago Bears head to the nation's capital on Monday night to face the Washington Commanders.
This will be a clash between the top two picks in the 2024 NFL draft, and while I'm betting on Caleb Williams to have a productive game, it won't be enough to cover against Jayden Daniels and an elite Washington rushing attack.

The Washington Commanders got back franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels last week, and he led them to a 27-10 upset win against the Chargers.
The Commanders are ninth in the NFL in defensive success rate, while the Chicago Bears rank just 31st. The Bears have been especially bad against the run, ranking second-last in rushing yards allowed per game (164.5) and dead-last in yards allowed per carry (6.1).
Washington leads the league with 156.4 rushing yards per game and will run all over the Bears, which should lead to a win and a cover. That should mean a big game for running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who rushed for 111 yards on a season-high 14 carries last week.
The rookie speedster impressed in Week 1, but Washington strangely decided to use a RB by committee approach in the next three games. He has since separated himself from Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichol,s which should mean more touches for him moving forward.
Since I'm expecting a negative game script for the Bears, it makes sense to take the Over on Williams' passing yards props. Especially since the Commanders have a poor secondary and rank 27th in the league in coverage grade per PFF.
