With a healthy Jayden Daniels, the Washington Commanders are capable of beating anyone — and they can go joint top of the NFC East with a win over the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.

Daniels looked sharp in his Week 5 return from a knee injury, leading Washington to an impressive 27-10 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, and I see him being a major factor as a passer and a rusher at Northwest Stadium.

Let's dive into the latest Jayden Daniels odds and give you my NFL picks for October 13.

Jayden Daniels prop pick

Jayden Daniels best bet: Over 265.5 passing + rushing yards (-110 at bet365)

Jaynde Daniels is only three starts into his second NFL season, but it’s impossible to ignore the calm decision-making he brings to this Washington Commanders offense.

After Washington fell behind 10-0 following two punts in the first quarter against the Chargers last weekend, Daniels put on his cape and helped Dan Quinn’s squad put up 27 unanswered points.

Another week of rest and treatment should make Daniels even more comfortable, and I’m going all-in on the Commanders QB giving the Chicago Bears defense fits on Monday. He just edged his way to the Over on this passing + rushing combo line in Week 5, totaling 231 passing yards and 39 rushing yards, and Daniels racked up a total of 301 yards in Week 1 against the Giants.

Though the Commanders have some injury absences to overcome, headlined by Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown, we saw enough flashes from Deebo Samuel, Luke McCaffrey, and Jacory Croskey-Merritt last Sunday to suggest Daniels has enough ingredients to cook up a fluent offense.

Meanwhile, Daniels’ elusive running could really propel this Over. He picked up 68 yards on the ground in Week 1 and rushed for 891 yards as a rookie. With the Bears allowing 164.5 rushing yards per game this year — only the Dolphins have a worse mark — the stage is set for Daniels to unleash some of his trademark scampers.

Jayden Daniels same-game parlay

Jayden Daniels Over 265.5 passing + rushing yards

Jayden Daniels anytime touchdown

Deebo Samuel Over 5.5 receptions

After six rushing TDs last year, Daniels is still looking for his first score of the season, and he won’t get many better opportunities than facing a Bears defense that’s struggled to stop the run. Croskey-Merritt will be Plan A around the goal-line, but Daniels has a gift for improvising on the move.

Despite the questionable tag, I expect Samuel to play and be a focal point for the Washington offense. He and Zach Ertz will see plenty of targets on passing downs, and Samuel finished with eight catches on 11 targets for 96 yards and a TD last weekend.

Samuel has racked up 6+ receptions in four of five outings this year.
