Who will win 49ers vs Rams?
The Los Angeles Rams are favorites over the San Francisco 49ers tonight, and Trevor Knapp is backing the underdog in his NFL Week 1 moneyline picks.
Our prediction: Rams to win — No (36%)
"Los Angeles may be the best team in the NFL on paper, but the last time we saw this much preseason hype surrounding a team, the 2011 Eagles flamed out and finished 8-8.
Kyle Shanahan has always played his buddy Sean McVay tough, and I can’t look past the eerily different travel schedules that the 49ers and Rams have opted for.
I’m siding with the club that’s been in Australia for a calendar week rather than the one flying in 24 hours before kickoff. "

49ers vs Rams spread prediction
Our prediction: Rams -3.5 — No (49%)
Joe Osborne is also on the Niners, opting to back them on the spread in his 49ers vs. Rams predictions.
"The Los Angeles Rams are loaded, but history suggests this spread is too high. Los Angeles is just 8-11 straight up in 19 meetings between Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan, with only four of those wins coming by four or more points. "
49ers vs Rams total prediction
Our prediction: Over 47.5 — Yes (52%)
Our NFL prop projections page expects last year's No. 1 offense to be involved in a shootout to open their season, with projections calling for 50.10 points.
CMC is off the injury report, and George Kittle is expected to play, giving the 49ers plenty of ways to keep up with L.A.

49ers vs Rams player props
Receiving prop: Blake Corum 40+ rushing yards — Yes ( 47%)
Jason Logan has attacked the prop market for tonight's meeting, and Blake Corum is on his radar.
"Blake Corum sits as RB2 on the Rams’ depth chart but his growth as a runner isn’t lost on offensive coordinator Nate Scheelhaase.
Corum turned heads with his workouts and effort this summer and drew a heavier workload at the end of 2025, with his involvement spiking in December and beyond.
Corum carried the ball for 40+ rushing yards in seven of his final nine games, including two of three postseason outings. His projections for Week 1’s trip Down Under sit as high as 51 yards, with my forecast calling for 47+ gains on the ground."

49ers anytime touchdown prop: Christian McCaffrey — Yes (56%)
Kyle LaRusic is on the touchdown beat, and he's got three players circled in his 49ers vs. Rams touchdown picks — highlighted by CMC.
"CMC appears to be ready to go in Week 1, and his workload will be steep. Rookie Kaelon Black is positioned as the San Francisco 49ers' RB2, and I don't see them giving him much run — especially in the red zone.
McCaffrey led all RBs last year in RZ rush attempts, scoring 10 times. He also had the fourth-most targets through the air with 25, and he hauled 20 of them in — seven being in the end zone.
His body of work when San Francisco gets close is too good to pass up, and this is probably one of the shorter prices we'll see for CMC in the touchdown market."
Rams anytime touchdown prop: Puka Nacua — Yes (40%)
LaRusic is also expecting Puka Nacua to find paydirt.
"Nacua faces a 49ers defense that coughed up the 11th-most TDs through the air, and half of Nacua's scores last season came outside the red zone.
Nick Bosa is expected to play but remains limited in practice, and if he isn't 100%, I don't see the Niners' D-line putting much pressure on Matthew Stafford in the pocket after they recorded a league-low 20 sacks last season.
That'll give the reigning MVP plenty of time to find his top receiver for six points."
49ers vs Rams live markets explained
Kalshi's event contracts can be bought and sold as the Rams vs. 49ers game unfolds, meaning traders aren't locked into their pregame positions.
The probabilities will move throughout the game as the score, time remaining, possession, and game state change.
How do 49ers vs Rams prediction markets work?
Kalshi is a federally regulated U.S. exchange where users trade directly on the outcome of real-world future events. Instead of traditional bets, users trade event contracts based on simple Yes/No questions such as "Will the 49ers beats the Rams?"
Contract prices reflect the market's estimated probability of an outcome. A contract trading at 23%, for example, indicates that the market is assigning that outcome roughly a 23% chance of occurring. If the prediction is correct, the contract settles at $1; if it is incorrect, it settles at $0.
How does Kalshi differ from sportsbooks?
At a traditional sportsbook, bettors wager against prices established by the bookmaker. Kalshi instead operates as an exchange, with users trading event contracts against other market participants.
Another major difference is the ability to exit a position before an event is finished. If the probability of your 49ers vs. Rams position increases during the game, you can sell the contract rather than waiting for the final result.
Why trade 49ers vs Rams at Kalshi?
Kalshi offers several features that distinguish prediction markets from traditional pro football betting:
- Live flexibility: Contracts can be bought and sold as market probabilities change throughout the game.
- Probability-based pricing: Markets display the estimated likelihood of an outcome rather than traditional American odds.
- Transparency: Prices are driven by trading activity between market participants.
- Federal regulation: Kalshi operates as a CFTC-regulated exchange.
