The defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes will be looking to continue their 12-game winning streak dating back to last season when they travel to take on the Purdue Boilermakers, losers of 15 straight Big Ten games.

The Buckeyes are 7-0-1 against the spread this season, but the Boilermakers have been very competitive in recent weeks.

Ohio State vs Purdue prediction

Ohio State vs Purdue best bet: Julian Sayin Under 2.5 passing touchdowns (+132)

Julian Sayin is having an incredible debut season as the Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback and is now the favorite to win the Heisman trophy. He now has 23 passing touchdowns on the season to only three interceptions.

However, as bad as the Purdue Boilermakers have been with 15 straight losses in conference play, they've been surprisingly good at keeping opposing passes out of the endzone. Not a single opposing quarterback has thrown for more than two touchdown passes in a game this season.

As good as Sayin has been this season, he does have three games with two or fewer passing touchdowns. This game is also likely to be a blowout, and if Sayin doesn’t get his passing touchdowns early, there will be no reason for him to throw late.

The Boilermakers have given up most of their points through the ground game and turnovers. I believe this game script will lead to fewer passing opportunities for Sayin, and we're getting very good odds on him to do something the Boilermakers have forced in every game this season.
