The Louisville Cardinals and Miami Hurricanes square off in a matchup of two high-scoring offenses.

It's a key meeting for both teams ahead of the ACC Tournament, as both squads are looking to build thin resumes. I expect both offenses to be at the top of their games and will bet accordingly.

My Louisville vs. Miami predictions and college basketball picks break down why we should expect offensive fireworks on Saturday, March 7.

Louisville vs Miami prediction

Louisville vs Miami best bet: Over 156.5 (-110)

Mikel Brown Jr. is questionable, but that shouldn't move the Over to non-playable either way.

The Louisville Cardinals just hung 77 on Syracuse at a slower tempo without him. The Miami Hurricanes defense allows 1.01 points per possession on attack & kick, and that's one of the hallmarks of the Pat Kelsey offense.

Ryan Conwell and Isaac McKneely should get looks all game. On the flip side, Malik Reneau and the Miami bigs run pick and roll at the 91st percentile against Louisville's average interior defense.

Both teams push transition at a rate of 21+ possessions per 100, making the Over a solid play.

Louisville vs Miami same-game parlay

Guessing what is going to happen with Mikel Brown in this spot is a fool's errand.

Even if he plays, you have no idea whether he'll be on a minutes limit or at 100%. With that in mind, I'll just say this prop gets a nice lift if he's out.

However, even if he plays, I like pairing Ryan Conwell points with our best bet for this same-game parlay. Louisville's attack-and-kick advantage keeps them competitive, and Conwell is the engine of that attack. That's an area Miami struggles to defend.

Louisville vs Miami SGP

  • Over 156.5
  • Ryan Conwell Over 19.5 points

Our beyond the arc SGP: Reneau, Donaldson connection shines

For my beyond-the-arc SGP, I added Malik Reneau to exceed his points total, along with Tre Donaldson to exceed his assist total. This is a prop that's priced like two but should be closer to one.

Louisville has been poor at the rim this season and has allowed over a point per possession on big cuts and rolls. Reneau is the clear scoring option off of these sets, while Donaldson is the primary passer.

Louisville vs Miami SGP

  • Over 156.5
  • Ryan Conwell Over 19.5 points
  • Malik Reneau Over 18.5 points
  • Tre Donaldson Over 5.5 assists

Louisville vs Miami odds

  • Spread: Louisville +2 | Miami -2
  • Moneyline: Louisville +105 | Miami -125
  • Over/Under: Over 156.5 | Under 156.5
