Nets vs. Celtics combo: 6.85x

Analyst: Quinn Allen

  • Celtics -11.5
  • Michael Porter Jr. Over 2.5 threes
  • Payton Pritchard Over 2.5 threes

I'm combining the Celtics spread with some efficient shooting from both teams here.

Michael Porter Jr. is shooting 36% from 3-point range, and he's cashed the Over in two of three games. He's averaging exactly 3.0 makes on 8.3 attempts per night, and the Celtics have been vulnerable to outside shooting, allowing 14.3 made threes per contest.

Pritchard caught fire against the Bulls, going 7-for-10 from long range. He's a high-volume shooter, and the guard is averaging 3.3 makes on 55.6% shooting from deep so far. The Nets are allowing 17.3 threes per game, among the most in the NBA, and opponents are shooting 40.3% from beyond the arc against them.

Pistons vs. Knicks combo: 5.90x

Analyst: Ed Scimia

  • Pistons +4.5
  • Under 218.5
  • Cade Cunningham 2+ threes made

The Knicks are playing solid defense and putrid offense, and that combination has led to the Under hitting in all three of their games, with each one going below tonight's total. But the Pistons are also capable of playing a grinding style, as they did in a 106-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

I'll also add Cade Cunningham to hit at least two threes tonight to round out my combo. Cunningham has averaged two-plus threes per game over each of his last two seasons, and has hit multiple shots from deep in his last two contests. That makes him a good pick to do it again tonight.

Kings vs. Spurs combo: 11.64x

Analyst: Geoff Clark

  • Under 231.5
  • Darius Acuff Jr. 20+ points
  • Julian Champagnie 3+ made threes

Moving forward, I'm only risking a quarter-unit (0.25u) on these combos because they have bigger payouts, hence, are less likely to cash.

Both player props can cash without threatening the Under. Sacramento rookie PG Darius Acuff Jr. can still get his 20 because Sacramento is letting him fire away, even if the Kings struggle offensively.

San Antonio backup wing Julian Champagnie doesn’t need a shootout either. He just needs enough clean looks from deep, and a blowout could actually keep him on the floor longer.

That’s the script: San Antonio controls the game, Acuff soaks up usage for Sacramento, and Champagnie gets loose from deep once the rotations open up.

Trail Blazers vs. Lakers combo: 8.79x

Analyst: Chris Walder

  • Trail Blazers moneyline
  • Under 233.5
  • Luka Doncic Under 32.5 points

While I'm confident in Portland to cover at +2.5, which does provide some wiggle room, I'd still take the away side to win outright and boost the overall value of this parlay with greater returns.

The Trail Blazers and Lakers have registered an Under three straight times and four of the last five whenever the latter was favored on the spread. The total in the last three games was set no higher than 225 points, too.

Elsewhere, Doncic's scoring total is inflated coming off his 52-point outburst against Utah. He averaged 25.5 points through his first two appearances this season and only converted 38.5% of his shot attempts. That's more in line with what should be projected for him tonight against a more hard-edged defense.
