The Utah Jazz eased out of the All-Star break with a game against the pitiful Rockets on Friday, a warm-up which they won 114-99. Now, Utah will head to the Bay Area for a matinee against the Golden State Warriors.

Can Utah, the NBA's best team in the first half of the season and one of the most reliable for NBA betting, get rolling to begin the second half of its schedule? Find out in our picks and predictions for Jazz vs. Warriors on Sunday, March 14 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

NBA sharp money and line movement report

By Patrick Everson

FanDuel pegged Utah a 6-point favorite at the outset Saturday night, reached -7 this morning and then moved on to -7.5, where the line rests at 2 p.m. ET. The Jazz are attracting 68 percent of bets and 71 percent of money on the spread. The total jumped from 230 to 234.5, with 64 percent of bets/69 percent of cash on the Over.

Against the spread (ATS) pick

The good news for the Warriors, losers of four straight, including a 130-104 blowout loss to the Clippers out of the All-Star break, is that Steph Curry remains a supernova. The bad news? The rest of the roster. Andrew Wiggins has turned back into a pumpkin after he was briefly anointed Scottie Pippen 2.0. Kelly Oubre is the same, limited player he always has been. Draymond Green has regressed to a startling point on offense. James Wiseman is a net negative.

Between Curry's incredible play and a strong season on the defensive end for Golden State, they should be able to stay in the playoff picture in the Western Conference. However, they are a long way away from the class of the west. Unlike the Jazz.

Utah has proven to be as legitimate of a threat as any team this season, atop the west at 28-9 SU and 25-12 ATS. In their only other meeting this season, Utah throttled Golden State, winning 127-108. The Jazz showed no signs of cooling off out of the break, and we are confident siding with one of the deepest teams in the league over a one-man army.

PREDICTION: Jazz -6 (-110)

Over/Under pick

Despite both the Jazz and Warriors sitting in the Top-4 in defensive rating, neither have consistently rewarded Under bettors this season. Utah is 18-18-1 O/U on the year, while Golden State is 16-22. In their first meeting, they topped the 228.5 total by 6.5 despite neither team exceeding their season-long shooting percentages by any considerable margin.

With a total at 230, we would need to again hope for the Jazz to blow the Warriors out in order to hit the Over. Even during the Warriors' current four-game losing streak, they are 1-3 O/U. Barring a nuclear Curry night, we like their losing streak to reach five games, with a fourth Under in that stretch.

PREDICTION: Under 230 (-110)

First half prop

Though the Jazz are one of the NBA's best offenses, currently ranking third in offensive rating, they have been quiet in the first half of games going 15-21 O/U — including a 7-12 O/U mark on the road.

The Warriors have been even less likely to hit Over in first halves, at 12-24-2 O/U. They have been downright reliable to the Under at home through two quarters, however, at 4-13-1 O/U.

Two slow-starting offenses in just their second game out of an extended break leaves us confident in doubling down on a low-scoring game and taking the first half Under.

PREDICTION: 1H Under 113 (-105)
