The NBA betting board on Wednesday night is capped off by the Mavericks hosting the Clippers at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the second time in three nights.

Dallas will be looking to get revenge for Monday’s loss to Los Angeles, but oddsmakers don't expect it to happen as the home team opened as a slight underdog.

Against the spread (ATS) pick

The Clippers earned a 109-99 victory over the Mavericks on Monday, but it’s not worth reading too much into that game. Dallas megastar Luka Doncic, who is normally as reliable as they come, was 9 for 23 from the floor in that one and he also turned the ball over seven times. He took the blame for the loss, saying he killed his team with poor shot selection. That said, look for him to come out and play a much better game tonight.

Another thing that should change in this meeting is that Maxi Kleber and Josh Richardson will likely combine to score more than nine points. The duo normally averaged a combined 20.6 points per game, and that difference is enough to make up for the 10 points that Dallas lost by on Monday.

Also, it’s not like these two are taking difficult shots: Playing off of Doncic is rather easy for an offensive player, as he generates an absurd amount of open looks.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the Mavs had won and covered in four-straight home games heading into Monday’s loss. This Dallas team is not easy to beat in its own building and it would take a lot for Los Angeles to do it twice in a row.

PREDICTION: Mavericks +2.5 (-110)

Over/Under pick

Monday’s meeting between these teams was a low-scoring one and that game saw quite a few players shooting good percentages, suggesting that it wasn’t exactly a mistake.

These teams know each other well after last year’s playoff series, so they know how to get under each other’s skin and prevent the other from getting easy buckets. Look for this one to be another battle, with both teams digging in defensively.

This might go higher than Monday's 208 result, but this number seems a tad high.

PREDICTION: Under 227.0 (-110)

Player prop pick

Kristaps Porzingis has quietly played well offensively for Dallas lately, and he had 22 points on Monday.

The Clippers have a lot of good defenders scattered throughout their roster, but they are lacking a big man with any type of notable footspeed. That gives Porzingis a real offensive advantage, as he is more than capable of creating off the dribble or attacking closeouts.

Porzingis is averaging 25 points per game over the last three contests—so this number certainly isn’t out of reach tonight.

PREDICTION: Kristaps Porzingis Over 21.5 points (-115)
