The Atlanta Hawks were absolutely bullied inside by the Heat on Wednesday, giving up 70 points in the paint while losing the rebounding battle 64-45.
That sets up nicely for the Cleveland Cavaliers' imposing frontcourt of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, who combined for 24 rebounds against the Wizards last night and should feast down low.
The Hawks' +5.0 average scoring margin is also misleading. Their 47-point demolition of the Hornets is doing most of the heavy lifting, and they've actually been outscored in their other four games.
Both teams are on a back-to-back, but Cleveland has won three straight and looks better equipped to exploit Atlanta's weaknesses. I'll back the Cavaliers to win outright at 50%.
COVERS INTEL: The Hawks are allowing 13 offensive rebounds per game while grabbing just 41.4 total boards. Cleveland, meanwhile, ranks sixth in the NBA with 47 rebounds per contest, giving the Cavaliers a clear advantage on the glass.

I'm leaning towards a high-scoring game along with a Cleveland win and Mobley making his presence felt inside.
Both teams are averaging around 120 ppg, and neither defense has been particularly convincing. Atlanta just surrendered 129 points to Miami, while Cleveland has the personnel to exploit the Hawks inside. With both teams on a back-to-back, tired legs could lead to more defensive breakdowns.
Mobley has finished with 12, 10, and 10 rebounds across his last three games, and he's averaging 9.3 boards overall. The Hawks have allowed 60 boards per contest across their previous three appearances while allowing 10.3 to opposing power forwards.

I'm sticking with Mobley, but for his shooting. His total threes tonight sits at just 1.5, and the big man has been incredibly efficient from downtown lately. He's hit the Over in three straight, and has gone 9-for-11 across his last two outings.
Mobley was 5-for-6 against Washington on Wednesday, and overall, he's averaging 3.0 makes on 4.5 attempts per night for a ridiculous 66.7% clip from beyond the arc.
Of course, continuing to shoot the rock at that efficiency is unrealistic, but with such a low total this evening, the Over at 43% offers tremendous value. The Hawks are also allowing 2.4 triples per contest to power forwards.
Hawks player prop: Jalen Johnson Over 7.5 assists
Play up to 52%.
Jalen Johnson is coming off an 11-assist performance, and he's dished 30 dimes over his last three appearances. The Duke product is averaging 8.3 assists overall, and he continues to serve as Atlanta's top playmaker. He already has a 37.4 assist percentage, up 4.2 percentage points from last season, and I like him at 48%.
Johnson's Hawks have the league's best assist percentage, and the Cavs rank 16th in the NBA in dimes allowed (26.8).
I'll take Johnson to have another impressive facilitating night at home.
