The Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks continue a three-game set tonight at Chase Field in Phoenix.
Brandon Pfaadt hasn’t been at his best, and my Mariners vs. Diamondbacks predictions will dive into why I expect him to give up his fair share of runs tonight.

Mariners vs Diamondbacks prediction
My Mariners vs Diamondbacks best bet: Brandon Pfaadt Over 2.5 earned runs (+100 at Caesars)
The Arizona Diamondbacks have struggled on the mound this season, compiling a 4.83 ERA as a staff.
Corbin Burnes was their top starter, but he just underwent Tommy John surgery. Brandon Pfaadt isn’t exactly helping Arizona’s case either, going 7-4 with a 5.51 ERA. He’s struck out 51 in 65 1/3 innings of work, with opponents hitting .275 against him.
Pfaadt had a very rough May. He compiled a 8.10 ERA across eight starts, allowing 24 earned runs in 26 2/3 frames. June didn’t start well either, giving up five earned runs last Thursday against the Braves. The righty has cashed the Over in earned runs surrendered in five consecutive appearances.
In two career outings versus the Seattle Mariners, Pfaadt has allowed five earned runs in 11 2/3 innings, posting a 3.86 ERA. This current Seattle lineup is batting just .179 against him, but it’s a very small sample size.
Pfaadt has a 4.15 ERA at home and a 6.04 ERA in night games. He’ll get hit around this evening.
Mariners vs Diamondbacks same-game parlay (SGP)
Brandon Pfaadt Over 2.5 earned runs allowed
Julio Rodriguez Over 0.5 singles
Josh Naylor Over 0.5 singles
Julio Rodriguez isn’t having the best campaign, hitting just .252 with 10 home runs and 33 RBI. But he’s coming alive lately, especially in June.
So far this month, the franchise cornerstone is batting .323 (10-for-31). Nine of those hits have been singles.
J-Rod has cashed the Over in singles in three of his last four contests, collecting multi-hits in all of those games. Rodriguez was 2-for-5 with a pair of base knocks in Monday’s extra innings loss, and he’s 2-for-6 lifetime against Pfaadt with two singles. He’ll make some noise tonight.
Josh Naylor has been a phenomenal addition for the struggling Diamondbacks. The Canadian slugger is hitting .290 with eight bombs and 44 RBI. Naylor was 3-for-5 on Monday with a single, double, and a home run.
Of his 71 hits in 2025, 47 are singles. Naylor has also cashed the Over in singles in three of his previous four appearances.
Naylor is hitting .315 against righties, and the Mariners send Logan Evans to the hill tonight. Also, the 27-year-old has a .341 average at home compared to .238 on the road.
