I only posted in this thread for one reason, and that was to help people on Covers to jump on the easiest play of the bowl season. Hopefully I was able to help some people win money tonight. I know I certainly did - Alabama -9.5, 1st Half UNDER 23, Michigan State Team Total UNDER 17.5 and Alabama -4 2nd Half.
much respect to you...awesome call,dude...you deserve all your winnings for backing yourself with confidence...despite not agreeing with the way you both went about expressing it,i give kudos to you as one of the absolute best college football guys here.you are definitely an asset to this forum and are having a feckin monster bowl season i see...which not many at all can say....well done.

No offense to anybody but... Why do the majority of people doubt Bama? Is it a thing that you hate a team and want them to lose make you bet against them?
I am not an Alabama fan but I have to admit that alabama is the most solid team in the nation right now, and they have the best coach as well, in my opinion.
Before this day I was asking myself, why is everyone fading Clemson and why so much love for Oklahoma when they knew that Clemson was number one for a reason and they knew Clemson was better... Same thing here with Bama.
Most people fading Bama, taking the points with MSU, this and that, and what happened? Yes, Bama won and covered, public got smacked... What happened with Clemson? Yes they won and covered, and public got smacked.
Is this really a surprise that Bama killed MSU? Really? Did anyone watch the beginning of the season? MSU was barely winning games, not a surprise to me.
Was it a surprise that Clemson beat Oklahoma? Really the number 1 team in the country given points? Everyone on Oklahoma, the same Oklahoma team that lost to SORRY Texas and the same Oklahoma team that barely lost to a depleted TCU team...
Sometimes I ask myself, do the majority of you guys really watched the entire season? If so, why are you all crying about?

well done,tappy.you and jimmy da freak read it like a book..almost as if you had seen the game already.was never in doubt for one second really.....that dont make it any less stupid saying that a team has no chance to win a game,in this instance it proved to be prophetic but guys have said that many times before and looked utterly stupid once game plays out.
