What really good football team has Alabama beaten by 10 points this year? The answer is NONE (unless you consider Georgia or LSU really good football teams). They haven't played a team as good as Michigan St this year. I don't think they can blow out a talented, well coached football team. They are used to feasting on average teams all year!!!!! I will take the points.
Personally I could not care less who you bet on, but Alabama minus anything less than two touchdowns is the easiest bet of the entire bowl season, because it is far a away the most predictable. I now you don't want to believe it, but this game will play out exactly like the SEC Championship Game minus the punt return and the Hail Mary. Alabama minus anything less than 2 touchdowns is an absolute gift from the oddsmakers. For the love of God, take the free money!

Stats in the game were VERY comparable as well... Watson had about 400 yards and 5 TD's, while Dak Prescott (who everyone said was overrated and not NFL calliber, and simply a terrible QB) also had 400 yards and 4 TD's.. Clemson also has a higher ranked defense but NC state scored far more points on them... ACC is overrated... They will be exposed...

yea yea yea,you can talk all of the logical,conventional wisdom and analyse everything on face value till the cows come home....but i dont even watch this sport hardly at all and even i know that crazy,crazy shiiit happens constantly in these bowl-type scenario's..its just the nature of the beast in final/knoockout/do-or-die type situations...noticed it every year for past few years and hear veteran cappers here always talking about it.
so,while i have zero problem with you being confident or taking a strong stance on a side,it is ludicrous to make statements like "spartans have no chance to cover,let alone win the game"or"spartans will be lucky to score on offense"....these arent so much mis-placed opinions as flat out lies.
as already pointed out,if michigan state was no chance the books wudnt be offering ML odds on alabama wud they??....its moronic to think this way.

I only posted in this thread for one reason, and that was to help people on Covers to jump on the easiest play of the bowl season. Hopefully I was able to help some people win money tonight. I know I certainly did - Alabama -9.5, 1st Half UNDER 23, Michigan State Team Total UNDER 17.5 and Alabama -4 2nd Half.
