What really good football team has Alabama beaten by 10 points this year? The answer is NONE (unless you consider Georgia or LSU really good football teams). They haven't played a team as good as Michigan St this year. I don't think they can blow out a talented, well coached football team. They are used to feasting on average teams all year!!!!! I will take the points.

Bama has faced several teams with higher ranked offenses nationally and our defense shut them down, and Bama has faced several defenses that are ranked higher nationally and Henry ran all over them and Coker passed all over them... You should not focus on who beat who, because rankings and wins and losses do not give an idea of a team and their abilities..

Michigan st has a good defense capable of stopping the run, but not a good secondary... However, their rush defense has no depth, which will be a major problem for them and what has been the problem for all the teams we play. By the 4th quarter our offensive line and that tank that is Derrick Henry has literally pounded them into submission late 3rd quarter, and this will be no different... And do not underestimate Jake Coker...

....This Bama team isn't as good as 09,11 or 12 and can be defeated.

Alabama hasn't faced a decent QB this season, will be interesting to see what they do against Cook

That makes no sense... These were completely different years, with different teams, and different players and different circumstances... Bama doesn't have to be better or worse than one of those teams to be the best team in the nation right now...

Cook is ranked 41st in the nation in passing... We have faced and shut down the 9th, 29th, and 37th... I do not see him being a problem...

I like the points in this matchup and think Bama will have their hands full latevs Sparty.I don't think this Bama team is as good as 09,11 or 12 and will have a tough time winning 2games.Just really depends if Cook has his A game.Coker is solid IMO,but is obviously he is the worse out of the 4.

As I stated before... Cook is ranked 41st in the nation in passing and we have faced the 9th, 29th, and 37th... I do not see him being a problem... We don't have to be as good as those teams you mentioned to be the best team in the nation... We are going to hurt Sparty... Game is not going to be close, trust me...

Personally I could not care less who you bet on, but Alabama minus anything less than two touchdowns is the easiest bet of the entire bowl season, because it is far a away the most predictable.

I now you don't want to believe it, but this game will play out exactly like the SEC Championship Game minus the punt return and the Hail Mary.  Alabama minus anything less than 2 touchdowns is an absolute gift from the oddsmakers.  For the love of God, take the free money!

If you think Brandon Allen and Greyson Lambert are as good or better than Cook, than you need your head examined.

I am just going by the rankings, and the fact that these QB's are in the SEC... And I think Brandon Allen is one of the best QB's in the nation... He is ranked 9th, and Cook is ranked 41st... deal with it...

Not this this has a ton of merit because Alabama is a different team this year, but Ohio st, who blasted Albama last year, returned 80 percent of its players, played Mich st in a very close one possession game and lost. But the team that got trounced by OSU is going to cover 10 against MSU? Yeah this years team is different. Same coaches, same QB, same RB, a couple of pieces of the line are same, etc. You can throw stats till your blue in the face, Mich St is just a solid pick when they are a big dog. Alabamas secondary is good, but they haven't seen WRs like Burbridge and Kings Jr all year. Burbridge > Treadwell. Ohio st defense is not that far from Alabama defense. They are both extremely talented. If mich st scores first, that's going to be a tough task to cover 10. You better hope Bama scores first.

Yes we have, we have seen Fred Ross for Miss st, and Christian Kirk for AnM... They are both on their level.. .And again, your QB is ranked 41st in the nation... We have faced much better.. Our pass rush is going to cause MAJOR issues for that QB, and our secondary will have it easy, and btw they have not seen a safety like Eddie Jackson, and a LB like Reggie Ragland, or had to block anything like A'shawn Robinson or Jarran Reed...  And our DE's are all amazing as well... At least 4 of our lineman are going to the NFL this year.

Did you really just say that Ohio States defense is not that far off from Bama's, and you aren't drunk, or on drugs and are actually being serious?

Michigan State is a much more balanced team then any of the SEC teams Alabama played and destroyed. It's easy to run down a defense like Floridas when their offense can't stay on the field for longer then 2 minutes. Just makes the defense tired in the long run.

It's easy to take the point with MSU.
