Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira

Rohit Ponnaiya

Best bet: Max Holloway by KO/TKO
+160 at BET99

Max Holloway's finishing ability is underrated since he faced so many highly durable fighters at 145. He seems to carry more power at 155 with a highlight reel KO against Gaethje and a knockdown against Poirier.

Charles Oliveira tends to walk forward with minimal head movement, which has resulted in him getting rocked badly in multiple fights in recent years. He's more than willing to go out on his shield, and that reckless aggression should lead to a KO/TKO loss here.

Caio Borralho vs. Reinier de Ridder

Rohit Ponnaiya

Best bet: Fight to go the distance
-165 at BET99

Six of Borralho's last eight fights have gone to the judges cards. The only exceptions were a KO versus chinny Paul Craig and a submission against Michał Oleksiejczuk who is notoriously weak on the ground.

Unless he lands a big knee, de Ridder doesn't hit hard enough to pick up a KO/TKO. His path to a finish lies in his submission skills but Borralho is a BJJ black belt with excellent defensive grappling and the ability to reverse positions.

Gregory Rodrigues vs. Brunno Ferreira

Danny Howard

Best bet: Over 1.5 rounds
-110 at BET99

Despite both fighters carrying legitimate finishing ability, the key to this fight may be Rodrigues’ ability to slow the pace and neutralize Ferreira’s early aggression. If Rodrigues manages the opening exchanges and forces Ferreira into a longer fight, his more measured approach could dictate the outcome.

My best bet is that this fight goes Over 1.5 rounds.

Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Rob Font

Danny Howard

Best bet: Rosas by decision
+120 at BET99

Font’s aiming to play matador to Rosas' bull, and Rosas aims to win with control rather than aggression.

Expect this fight to find its way to the mat in short order, with Rosas' relentless grappling pressure shutting Font down for the decision.

Dan Dober vs. Michael Johnson

Chris Faria

Best bet: Fight to not go the distance
-190 at BET99

I don’t hate Johnson to win by decision at +255, but it’s probably safer to hedge a potential KO on either side and take this fight to end inside the distance.

Dober’s fights rarely reach the final bell, with eight of his last nine bouts ending by stoppage. In fact, only two of Dober’s last 15 fights have gone to the scorecards.

We’ll likely see Johnson find his range and win the first round, which will lead to absolute chaos in the second round and onwards, where either man can land a finishing blow.

Alberto Montes by submission or decision

Raul Rosas Jr. ML

Borralho vs de Ridder to go the distance

+311 at BET99

Alberto Montes by submission or decision (-120)

Alberto Montes makes his UFC debut against Ricky Turcios who has lost three of his last four fights. Turcios struggled with his defensive grappling at 135 pounds and now he's moving up featherweight where he'll face even stronger opponents.

Montes is 10-1 in his career but has just one knockout and Turcios has slightly better striking. However, Montes has the significant grappling advantage with six career wins by submission.

Raul Rosas Jr. ML (-290)

Rob Font is coming off a loss to David Martinez, and at 38 years old he's practically a fossil at bantamweight. Meanwhile, Raul Rosas Jr. is 17 years younger and enters on a four-fight win streak.

Rosas is a high-end grappler who has piled up 11 takedowns with 23 minutes of control time over his last three bouts. That's bad news for Font who has poor takedown defense and lacks the strength and scrambling ability to get back to his feet.

Borralho vs de Ridder to go the distance (-150)

Six of Borralho's last eight fights have gone the distance. The only exceptions were a KO versus chinny Paul Craig and a submission against Michał Oleksiejczuk who is notoriously weak on the mat.

Short of landing a big knee, Reinier de Ridder's only path to a finish is via submission. However, Borralho is a BJJ black belt with excellent defensive grappling and the ability to reverse position.
