MIA vs MISS Picks
NCAAF Picks
Mississippi wideout De’Zhaun Stirbling has been building some excellent chemistry with quarterback Trinidad Chambliss lately. Stribling has been targeted 24 times, catching 20 of them for 343 yards and four scores over the Rebels' last four games. That includes a big 122 yards on seven catches against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. He’s a big play threat who can burn even an excellent Canes defense.
Daniels caught 33 balls for 351 yards and six touchdowns in the Hurricanes’ first seven games. But an injury cost him four games, and he’s just getting back up to speed, catching five balls for 49 yards in the Cotton Bowl. With Malachi Toney getting most of the attention, Daniels looks like a great bet to find the end zone here.
When the best unit on the field is a defensive line, faith should be put into it. Miami has 12 sacks in the College Football Playoff, and harassing Mississippi quarterback Trinidad Chambliss should short-circuit the Rebels' offense. Now facing the worst defense it has seen yet in the Playoff, expect the Hurricanes' offense to look distinctly improved in these semifinals.
