Chelsea vs Man United predictions

My Chelsea vs Man United top pick: Chelsea to win (54% probability)

Manchester United have kept just one clean sheet in 12 games across all competitions this season. Although Chelsea could be without Joao Pedro, they still have Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers, two playmakers capable of both creating and finishing chances. Their movement should cause problems for a static United defense.

United's lack of mobility in midfield adds to the problem, with Youri Tielemans lacking the pace and agility to cover ground. Carrick is also on the hot seat amid questions about his relationship with the dressing room. Captain Bruno Fernandes was benched after publicly criticizing his tactics. That off-field tension, combined with Chelsea's speed and athleticism, could help the hosts secure all three points.

My Chelsea vs Man United Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 goals (60% probability)

Despite their struggles, United have scored in five of their last seven games across all competitions, while only two clubs have conceded more goals than Chelsea this season. With Carrick's job under serious threat, United may have to attack aggressively, leaving themselves exposed at the back and creating chances at both ends.

Pedro Neto and Jorrel Hato could be key to Chelsea's attacking width. When they push forward as wing-backs, they can stretch United's defense and create more space centrally for Palmer, Rogers, and Danny Welbeck to exploit.

Neither side has defended well this season. With both managers under pressure, I expect them to push forward and try to outscore each other — a battle I back Chelsea to win.
