The “Ghost of NFC North Past” will haunt the Chicago Bears' secondary in the NFL Divisional Round.

Los Angeles Rams receiver — and former Green Bay Packer — Davante Adams is no stranger to the Windy City, which is why my Rams vs. Bears predictions make him the focus.

Find out more in my NFL picks for Sunday, January 18.

Rams vs Bears prediction

Rams vs Bears Best bet: Davante Adams Over 53.5 receiving yards (-114)

Davante Adams drew 13 targets for five catches and 72 yards in the Wild Card Round after returning from injury.

That came against a zone-heavy scheme, but he’ll face a Chicago Bears secondary that relies on man coverage. Adams rates among the best WRs vs. man-to-man and has been L.A.’s top downfield threat, averaging 24 air yards per reception.

The Bears limit yards after the catch but have been burned over the top, bleeding the third-most air yards and second-most explosive pass plays

Adams’ projections sit north of 60 yards with a ceiling of 67 yards.

Rams vs Bears same-game parlay

Adams is another game healthier after returning to play last weekend and has been Matthew Stafford’s favorite option in the end zone.

The Los Angeles Rams are known for their strong starts, averaging more than 15 points per first half. Chicago has a bad habit of falling behind, hemorrhaging 62 total 1H points in the past three games.
