As we enter Week 2 of the NFL preseason, it's important to remember that teams are neither as bad nor as good as they looked the previous week.
While some teams rested their starters, and some played them, there are plenty of overreactions that make you want to shake your head.
With teams treating this week as a dress rehearsal, I'll do my best to sift through the noise and make some sound NFL picks and moneyline predictions.

Expert NFL moneyline picks for Preseason Week 2
Titans vs Falcons: Titans (-220)
The Tennessee Titans are likely to give their starter a bit of a longer leash this week after Cam Ward played just two series last week vs. the Bucs. While the Atlanta Falcons haven't yet indicated their starters or playing time, the Titans will need to show a better effort after being soundly beaten last week.
Chiefs vs Seahawks: Chiefs (+130)
The Kansas City Chiefs will likely play their starters into the second quarter this week, which gives them the immediate edge over the combination of Sam Darnold, Drew Lock, and Jalen Milroe. At plus money, I expect Reid to put pressure on his guys to play well as they build up to the regular season.
Browns vs Eagles: Eagles (-205)
Shedeur Sanders did well in his Cleveland Browns debut, but is now hurt, and that means major QB concerns. Regardless of who the Philadelphia Eagles play, I expect them to come away with the victory.
Dolphins vs Lions: Dolphins (-190)
Your guess is as good as mine as to who will play in this contest and for how long. The Miami Dolphins tied last week, while this will be the Detroit Lions' third preseason game. I'll take the team looking to ramp up the intensity.
Packers vs Colts: Packers (+210)
Whether it's Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones, it doesn't really matter to me. The Indianapolis Colts are in a bad situation, and I'll take the juicy price that comes along with backing Malik Willis, Sean Clifford, Taylor Elgersma, and the Green Bay Packers.
Patriots vs Vikings: Vikings (+120)
The New England Patriots dominated the Commanders last week, but now hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings. With the starters set to get a bit more runway, I'll back J.J. McCarthy as he continues to work back into game shape.
Panthers vs Texans: Panthers (+125)
The Carolina Panthers were in a tough spot last week, facing a QB with plenty to prove. This week, they'll have it easier against the Houston Texans' backups.
49ers vs Raiders: Raiders (-225)
The San Francisco 49ers looked awful last week, and I see no signs of them flipping the script this week. The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to build a winning culture under Pete Carroll, so that motivation means something to me.
Chargers vs Rams: Chargers (-205)
The Los Angeles Chargers look solid through two weeks of action, scoring 27 and 34 points. I'll back the offense to continue putting in work.
Ravens vs Cowboys: Ravens (-130)
Rule No. 1 of betting on preseason football is to never bet against the Baltimore Ravens.
Buccaneers vs Steelers: Buccaneers (-170)
If there's one thing Aaron Rodgers loves to do, it's complain. I'll fade the Pittsburgh Steelers here vs. a Tampa Bay Buccaneers side that played well in Week 1 and should give the starters a bit more playing time.
Jets vs Giants: Jets (+155)
It's the battle of MetLife Stadium as the New York Jets and New York Giants hook up on Saturday night. Both teams are coming off wins, but I'll take the team that performed better on defense as an underdog.
Cardinals vs Broncos: Broncos (-260)
The Denver Broncos smashed the 49ers last week, and I expect a similar performance here vs. an Arizona Cardinals team that doesn't exactly have elite QB depth behind Kyler Murray.
Jaguars vs Saints: Jaguars (-120)
Both of these teams stink, but I can't trust a QB room that consists of Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shough, and Jake Haener.
Bills vs Bears: Bears (-155)
According to Ben Johnson, the Chicago Bears will play their starters in this game, and that's enough for me to trust them in their first home game. Defense looked awful in Week 1 vs. the Giants, and while there's a chance they are better, I'll side with the home team as a favorite of less than a field goal.
Bengals vs Commanders: Bengals (-220)
The Washington Commanders can't look as bad as they did last week, but the Cincinnati Bengals have the better quarterback depth, even if Jayden Daniels sees some extended playing time. I'll take the favorite in the Week 2 finale.
