Jason Logan’s expert pick: Packers team total Under 26.5

The Green Bay Packers have thrived on big plays in recent weeks, but offensive-line injuries are once again stacking up.

Pass protection is a problem against an aggressive Carolina Panthers pass rush bringing a ton of blitz. The Panthers don't give up anything over the top and leave Jordan Love with less time in the pocket for downfield throws to develop.

I see more handoffs to Josh Jacobs shortening up this offense and keeping Green Bay under its team total on the short week.

Josh Inglis' expert pick: Chuba Hubbard Over 14.5 receiving yards

The Panthers deploy a pass-first offense that ranks third in PROE but really lays it on when trailing. Chuba Hubbard made four catches on five targets last week (27 yards) in a negative game script and still missed the fourth quarter after Carolina pulled its starters.

He's running routes on 55% of dropbacks and also gets looks in the red zone. This is a 5-star play on the Covers props page, with a projection of 19.8 yards and a fair price of 55%.

Joe Osborne's expert pick: Panthers +3.5

My favorite active trend is back: Carolina is 13-0 against the spread in its last 13 games following an outright loss.

Getting obliterated 43-13 by Tampa Bay doesn’t scare me off. Last season, the Panthers followed a 31-point loss to Buffalo by winning outright at Green Bay as 13.5-point underdogs.

The Packers, meanwhile, have struggled to put lesser competition away, beating the Bucs and Jets by just three points apiece. With little separating these teams in net yards per play, give me the points... and that beautiful hook!

Jon Metler’s expert pick: Christian Watson anytime touchdown

Christian Watson is trading at 41% on Kalshi to score a touchdown, and I'll hit the button at that price as I value his chances closer to 47%.

With Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson still sidelined at cornerback, Watson should have opportunities to exploit one-on-one matchups on the boundary.

The Panthers deploy single-high coverage at a much higher rate than most teams, creating favorable isolation opportunities that Watson has the ability to win and turn into a touchdown.
