Jordan Love Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for Thursday Night Football

Jordan Love's passing production has been consistently on the lower end going back to last season, and we expect that trend to continue against the Commanders on Thursday.

A pair of NFC powerhouses meet on Thursday Night Football with the Washington Commanders and Green Bay Packers battling it out at Lambeau Field.

Here are my top NFL picks for the Jordan Love odds in this tape-measuring matchup on Thursday, September 11.

It's all part of our Commanders vs. Packers predictions for Week 2 of the NFL season.

Jordan Love prop pick

Jordan Love best bet: Under 235.5 passing yards (-110 at bet365)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has stayed below 230 yards in eight of his past nine games dating back to last season, and the Washington Commanders just held Giants QB Russell Wilson to a pedestrian 168 passing yards with a minuscule 45.9 completion percentage.

I’m definitely expecting Love to have an efficient game and post better numbers in Week 2 than Wilson did, but I’m also anticipating the Green Bay rushing attack to have its say as well.

After all, the Commanders allowed the third-fewest passing yards per game last year while being susceptible to the run with the ninth-highest rush success rate allowed, third-most rushing yards allowed per game, and finishing with PFF's fourth-lowest run defense grade.

Of course, Green Bay leaning on the running game is also an avenue to extend their time of possession and keep this Commanders offense and quarterback Jayden Daniels on the sidelines.

Jordan Love same-game parlay

Packers -3.5

Jordan Love Under 235.5 passing yards

Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown

Green Bay was an absolute force in Week 1, especially on defense, and the Packers averaged the sixth-most points per home game (26.8) last season. As discussed, I also think the Pack can lean on the ground game to control the clock.

The third leg of this SGP turns to Josh Jacobs, and he’s found pay dirt in each of his past 10 games and 12 of the past 13 as he remains a go-to weapon in the Green Bay offense.

I expect him to cash in again against the porous Washington run defense on Thursday Night Football, too.
