The Washington Commanders are set to face off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.
Both of these offenses like to feed their tight ends in the red zone, which is why my NFL picks are backing Tucker Kraft and Zack Ertz on their touchdown props.
Here are my best free Commanders vs. Packers anytime touchdown picks for September 11.
Commanders anytime touchdown pick
Zach Ertz (+260 at bet365)
Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz totaled three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown last week.
Ertz logged 66 receptions for 654 yards and seven scores last year, while adding another TD in the playoffs. The veteran has been Mr. Reliable in the red zone, where he hauled in 10 receptions on a team-high 18 targets in 2024.
Green Bay struggled to defend tight ends last season, ranking 25th in the NFL in receiving yards allowed to the position (970). The Packers played zone coverage at the eighth-highest rate in the league, and Ertz thrives against zone coverage due to his ability to find soft spots.
Although Green Bay's pass rush will be better after adding Micah Parsons, that should lead to more looks for Ertz as an outlet option in pressure situations.

Packers anytime touchdown pick
Tucker Kraft (+210 at bet365)
Washington isn't the only team in this matchup that feeds its tight end inside the 20-yard line. Tucker Kraft led the Green Bay Packers with 15 red-zone targets last year, and he caught 11 of them for 103 yards and six touchdowns.
Kraft finished the 2024 season with 50 receptions for 707 yards and seven touchdowns. He picked up right where he left off in Week 1, hauling in a 15-yard touchdown on the opening drive.
The Commanders allowed eight touchdowns to opposing tight ends last year — the fifth-highest number in the league. Kraft should be able to take advantage of that hole on D and find his way into the end zone on Thursday night.
