Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into their Week 2 tilt with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday as an 8.5-point favorite, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium.
Tampa may have lost in Week 1, but their offense has plenty of opportunity to exploit the visitors, which I explain in more detail in my Browns vs Buccaneers predictions.

TOP Pick
Browns vs Buccaneers prediction: Buccaneers -8.5
Play up to 55%.
The Cleveland Browns' Week 1 performance gave me very little reason to believe this offense can keep pace with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Browns fell behind Jacksonville 31-0 before finally showing some life late, and Deshaun Watson was sacked five times in the 34-10 loss.
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still managed to score 27 points against Cincinnati despite losing four fumbles. Baker Mayfield completed 23 of 28 passes without an interception, and Tampa should be in a much better position offensively if it simply takes care of the football.
With Mayfield facing his former team for the first time as a Buccaneer and Cleveland already showing major issues on both sides of the ball, I like Tampa to bounce back at home and win this one comfortably.

Browns vs Buccaneers combo
The Buccaneers shouldn't have any problems exploiting a poor Browns team, and a convincing win is in the cards for Mayfield and Co.
Speaking of Mayfield, he's a great look to throw for Over 200 yards. The QB had 216 yards through the air in Week 1, and the Browns allowed Trevor Lawrence to throw for 245 last weekend.
Mayfield was also substantially more efficient at home last season, averaging 230.9 yards per game compared to 205.1 on the road. Mayfield's passer rating was also stronger in Tampa.
Emeka Egbuka is arguably Mayfield's most important receiver, and the former Ohio State star reeled in five catches on six targets in the season opener.
Egbuka has all the ability to take advantage of Cleveland's shaky secondary, and he'll surely have a bigger role this season alongside Chris Godwin after Mike Evans' departure.
Browns vs Buccaneers combo
- Buccaneers -8.5
- Baker Mayfield Over 211.5 passing yards
- Emeka Egbuka Over 3.5 receptions
Browns vs Buccaneers touchdown scorer: Bucky Irving
Play up to 60%
Bucky Irving is a true Swiss Army knife for this Bucs team. He found the end zone in Week 1 as he rushed for 45 yards on eight carries while also having seven receptions.
Irving can do it all offensively, and his role as a back and pass-catcher gives him multiple paths to another touchdown on Sunday afternoon.
