Friday’s college football slate will be headlined by the No. 2-ranked Miami Hurricanes, who host the Louisville Cardinals.

These are two of the Top 7 scoring teams in the ACC, but also two of the Top 5 defenses in the conference.

It adds just a little extra intrigue as we make three Louisville vs. Miami prop bets. Read below for our free college football picks and Louisville vs. Miami predictions for October 17.

Prop bet #1: Carson Beck Over 1.5 passing TDs

-154 at FanDuel

Carson Beck is coming off his most prolific TD passing day for the Miami Hurricanes, as he connected on four scoring strikes in a big 28-22 win over the Florida State Seminoles.

Save for a TD pass blanketing at the hands of the Florida Gators, Beck has been very consistent getting to the end zone, as he’s recorded at least two touchdown passes in four of five games this season.

The Louisville Cardinals boast the top passing defense in the ACC by yards and is tied for third in fewest TD passes on the season, with five. However, Louisville has played just one ranked team (Virginia Cavaliers) to this point.

Beck is a level up for the Cardinals’ defense, and a legit Heisman odds candidate. I like him to find his way into the Louisville end zone on multiple occasions.

Prop bet #2: Isaac Brown Under 54.5 rush yards

-114 at FanDuel

After opening the year with back-to-back 100+ yard rushing performances, Isaac Brown failed to even crack 25 yards against Bowling Green and Pitt. He finally bounced back with 66 yards against Virginia when last seen,

Brown will now be going against one of the best defenses in the nation in Miami, who are second in the ACC, allowing 87.4 yards per game on just 2.8 yards per carry.

Only one player has rushed for more than 55 yards against Miami this year, and it was FSU QB Tommy Castellanos, who ran for 57 yards.

Look for the Canes to keep it stingy in the run game.

Prop bet #3: CJ Daniels anytime TD

+120 at FanDuel

CJ Daniels did not get shut out of paydirt against in-state schools, accounting for two TDs in the win over Florida State.

He had been kept out of the end zone in the previous two weeks, failing to score against both South Florida and Florida.

Daniels has been steadily involved in the Miami offense, catching at least four balls in every game, with five grabs in three of those games.

Daniels is tied with Canes RB Mark Fletcher for the team lead in TDs with five, and he’s got plus odds to score Friday as opposed to -270 odds for Fletcher. Daniels is the better bet.
