Prop pick #1: Jackson Harris Over 51.5 receiving yards
Hawaii transfer Jackson Harris has stepped up in a big way lately, posting 339 receiving yards and five touchdowns in LSU's last five games. He tweaked his ankle last week but is reportedly fine for Week 8, putting him in line for another productive outing.
He gets a fine matchup with Auburn (87th in passing success rate) as our college football moneyline picks for Week 8 explain. Auburn operates at the fastest tempo in the nation (21.5 seconds per snap), whereas LSU leads the country in total plays (555), creating a game environment where skill players will have ample opportunity for production.
Harris averages 2.53 yards per route run and will capitalize on Auburn's 120th-ranked coverage grade (per PFF), so I'd play this number up to 60.5.
- Matchup: LSU vs. Auburn

Prop pick #2: DJ Vonnahme Over 37.5 receiving yards
DJ Vonnahme led all returning tight ends in yards per route run (3.10) in 2025, yet struggled with injury for much of the first half of the season. He's back healthy now, catching two touchdowns a week ago, and his best days are ahead.
Vonnahme has eclipsed this number in four of five contests. Jeremy Hecklinksi takes the reins at quarterback, and his ability to stretch the field and his penchant for targeting his tight end both aid Vonnahme's Week 8 outlook.
Iowa attempted just 19 passes last time out, relying on a potent ground game against Washington. Minnesota has limited four of its six opponents below 80 rushing yards, which could force Iowa into some extra pass attempts — and therefore more Vonnahme targets — in Week 8.

Prop pick #3: Luke Reynolds Over 45.5 receiving yards
Speaking of productive tight ends: Come on down, Luke Reynolds.
The Penn State transfer has been a hit for Virginia Tech, leading all tight ends nationally with 43 receptions and 449 receiving yards. He's eclipsed this number in five of seven contests, so it's set too low against Clemson.
Reynolds was a five-star recruit out of high school, graded as the top tight end recruit in his class by 247. The production is now there to match the recruiting pedigree, and he's locked into a valuable role for the Hokies.
- Matchup: Virginia Tech vs. Clemson
- Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. ET
- Location: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC
- TV: ESPN
Prop pick #4: Amare Thomas Over 58.5 receiving yards
Amare Thomas appeared in this column a week ago when we backed him to go Over his receiving yardage prop of 50.5. He cleared that number by a smooth 75.5 yards, racking up 126 of them against Oklahoma State, and we're going back to the well.
Expectations are still too low, as 58.5 doesn't give credence to his sustained run of production. Thomas is averaging 79 yards across his last 17 games, and his prop line should be set accordingly.
Houston has one of the deadliest offenses around, ranking second in success rate. The Cougars throw it around with aplomb (fourth in EPA per pass) and will rely on Thomas' playmaking ability against a tough Utah team in Week 8.
- Matchup: Houston vs. Utah
- Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:15 p.m. ET
- Location: Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, UT
- TV: ESPN
Prop pick #5: Bryant Wesco Jr. Over 55.5 receiving yards
The other side of the Virginia Tech vs. Clemson matchup sees Bryant Wesco Jr. with a favorable matchup against the Hokies' ineffective secondary. Virginia Tech ranks 104th in EPA per pass allowed, recently coughing up 335 passing yards to a previously dormant Georgia Tech aerial assault and 321 yards to California's backup quarterback.
Clemson's offense may not be firing on all cylinders, but the same could be said of those two opponents, both of whom found plenty of spacious areas in the secondary. Wesco is a "made man" with 1,585 career yards on 2.20 yards per route run, so he has the known talent to make the Hokies pay.
