🤬 Minnesota vs Purdue: Purdue +2.5
Who's hatin: Storm faders
Why I'm hatin: I may be the commander in fun, but I do enjoy raining on parades. After Minnesota's outright win over Big Ten foe Michigan as nearly 7-point dogs, the Golden Gopher faithful stormed the field to celebrate.
Do not get me wrong, I love and adore when students storm a field, but it comes at a price. I have to fade you following that. Especially when head coach P.J. Fleck says, "Besides my marriage, my kids being born ... this might be the best day of my life,".
Yeah, Fade City, USA, which happens to be located in northern Indiana.
Do not let whatever negative thoughts you have about the Purdue Boilermakers football program fool you. This team has been very competitive this season.
Aside from its 49-10 loss to Notre Dame, which came after the Boilermakers played the Bruins in Los Angeles, Purdue took its frustrations out on the Fighting Illini, beating them outright 24-17 as nearly 10-point dogs.
If you can secure a +3 for the key number, do it, but I fully endorse any cushion. It's college football, after all. Take any point you can get.
😡 USC vs Penn State: Penn State moneyline
Who's hatin: USC Boosters
Why I'm hatin: Besides traveling across two time zones, the USC Trojans are 2-4 on the road when doing so since joining the Big Ten, does this team even care?
The Trojans have looked lifeless all season long. Sure, they beat the Washington Huskies 25-21 last week as a 7.5-point favorite, but they haven't covered a spread since Week 1 against Fresno State.
Not covering is a major concern, especially with how much hype this team had heading into the 2026 season. We were told this team would take a big step forward, and now there are whispers that boosters and alumni are looking to buy out Lincoln Riley at the end of the season if this continues.
"But bu- Penn State is coming off back-to-back losses,".
I am aware. However, this is a great spot to back Matt Campbell and his boys. Last week was not the bounce-back spot a lot of people probably assumed it would be because it was Northwestern, but that was a tough spot.
Last Friday was a massive game for the Northwestern community, as the Wildcats unveiled their nearly $850 million brand-new Ryan Field. No bounce-back spot could interrupt that moment, and it showed.
With how bland the Trojans have looked to kick off the 2026 season, combined with the long-distance travel, I love the Nittany Lions to come out on top here.
I snagged 53%, but I'm endorsing this to 57%.
🤬 Texas vs Oklahoma: Oklahoma +7.5
Who's hatin: Red River Rivalry | People that hate crimson red
Why I'm hatin: Personally, I have always been a Boomer Sooner guy, and I think this is an all-time buy-low spot for Oklahoma after its embarrassing loss to Georgia, and even before that, its loss to Michigan.
Texas opened as a 6.5-point favorite in June. It has since bounced around to 9.5 and back down to 7.5, where it stands now.
A lot has gone down since June, but we have seen this Oklahoma Sooners squad go into the Big House and look like a pack of Pop Warner kids, then get manhandled by Georgia by 28 points on the road in its last game, as I kissed my Georgia -13.5 ticket while tearing apart my John Mateer Heisman ticket.
Texas has endured a tough start to the season, beating Ohio State and going to Knoxville to beat Tennessee. However, the Sooners' brutal loss to Georgia, combined with the bye week, may be exactly what this team needed to prepare for a shot at taking down its archrival.
Give me the Sooners at +7.5. I would not go below +7.
