Oklahoma vs Alabama best bet
Oklahoma moneyline (+180 at FanDuel)
The Sooners lead the nation in defensive success rate and are fourth in opponent EPA per play. They are fifth in EPA per dropback and ninth in success rate on dropbacks. If Alabama can’t run the ball, this defense, which ranks second in the country in sack rate, will come after Simpson with exotic blitz packages that he hasn’t seen much of this season.

Iowa vs USC best bet
Kamari Moulton Over 74.5 rushing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
Moulton has been a steady producer for this Iowa Hawkeyes offense, racking up 75+ rushing yards in five straight games. Despite this, the books have decided to set his rushing yardage prop at 74.5 against a USC rush defense that checks in at 86th in EPA per rush and 126th in rushing success rate allowed.

Georgia Tech vs Boston College best bet
Under 59.5 (-112 at FanDuel)
Georgia Tech's ACC title hopes will be on the line next week against Pittsburgh, and then it hosts Georgia in a chance to strengthen a Playoff argument. This trip to Boston College needs to be treated as a chore more than anything else. Expect a conservative game plan from Brent Key and expect the three-score favorite to be the one to shorten the game.

UCF vs Texas Tech best bet
Texas Tech -23.5 (-120 at FanDuel)
It’s the defense. Texas Tech’s defense is the best in the country in terms of expected points added (EPA). The nicest thing that can be said about the Knights’ offense is that it is only slightly below average in early-downs performance... of course, that is slightly below the FBS average; UCF, on early downs, is wretched by Power Four standards.

Virginia vs Duke best bet
Duke -4.5 (-110 at FanDuel)
The Blue Devils are led by QB Darian Mensah, and the sophomore signal caller has been outstanding this season. Mensah has thrown for 2,794 yards with 24 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions. Duke ranks 25th in success rate and 26th in EPA per play as a result. That is the best offense that Virginia has seen this season by... a wide margin.

Texas State vs Southern Miss best bet
Southern Miss -3 (-102 at FanDuel)
This spread shortening this week from its opening number of -7 sets us up with an opportunity to profit on the second-best team in the Sun Belt, even if advanced metrics seem to disagree with the want. Even more than that, it is an opportunity to fade Texas State’s disastrous defense.

Memphis vs East Carolina best bet
Katin Houser Over 257.5 passing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
Memphis enters this game ranked 89th in success rate on dropbacks and 80th in EPA per dropback, while Houser leads an ECU offense that ranks 27th in the country in success rate, 26th in success rate on dropbacks, and 39th in EPA per dropback.

North Carolina vs Wake Forest best bet

The Tar Heels rank 123rd in the country in averaging 19.4 points per game. The Demon Deacons rank 100th at 23.3 per contest. This will be a rock fight and will fit what both coaches want.
