Gonzaga and Purdue meet tonight, Monday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the Hall of Fame Series. Gonzaga is a 6.5-point favorite (69% on the moneyline), and the total sits at 154.5. My Gonzaga vs. Purdue predictions lean on Purdue's stronger neutral-site profile and a pace angle that points toward a tighter game.

TOP PICK
Who will win Gonzaga vs Purdue: Purdue +6.5
Purdue +6.5 is tradable down to +4.5.
Since 2021, Gonzaga is just 26-37-1 against the spread (ATS) in neutral-site games, whereas Purdue is 35-27-1 ATS during that stretch. Three of those covers for the Boilermakers were outright wins over Zaga.
Furthermore, college basketball guru Ken Pomeroy is taking a stand against his contemporaries and the market. KenPom has Gonzaga beating Purdue 78-77, while Bart Torvik and EvanMiya have the Bulldogs winning by roughly five points.
Gonzaga will most likely be without transfer wing Chauncey Wiggins, who is facing eligibility concerns. Gonzaga ranked 212th nationally in 3PT% last year, per KenPom, and Wiggins' 73 made threes would have led the team last season.

Gonzaga vs Purdue Over/Under pick: Under 154.5
I lean toward the Under 154.5, down to 153.5.
The last three meetings between these teams have gone Under, and a couple of the sharper oddsmakers are already hanging a lower total than Polymarket. This total has also dropped from the 156.5 opener.
Wiggins remaining ineligible doesn't help Gonzaga's spacing, either.
Given the Bulldogs' lack of continuity, I trust Purdue more to dictate the pace. The Boilermakers have ranked 300th or slower nationally in adjusted tempo in four of the past five seasons, according to KenPom.
Purdue is also replacing one of the best point guards in program history, so some early offensive growing pains wouldn't surprise me.
Give me the slower team to control the terms.
Gonzaga vs Purdue combo
For the record, I'm only risking a quarter-unit for all my college hoops combos this season.
That said, I'm counting on Purdue to make Gonzaga earn this one. The longer the Boilermakers stay within striking distance, the less likely we are to get the kind of loose, free-flowing game that lets Zaga run away and light up the scoreboard.
A close game should force both teams into more meaningful possessions, fewer quick shots, and a lot more half-court basketball down the stretch.
That's the lane I want to stay in. Purdue keeps the pressure on, Gonzaga never fully gets comfortable, and the final few minutes feel like a possession-by-possession grind instead of garbage time.
Give me ugly over entertaining.
