Expert MLS moneyline picks for Matchday 27

New York Red Bulls vs New York City FC pick: Draw

Kalshi probability: 24%

NYCFC have owned the Hudson River Derby of late, winning five of the last seven. That said, neither club is performing well at the moment and NYCFC has taken just 16 points from 13 home matches. They'll share the spoils for the second time in the league this season.

DC United vs Charlotte FC pick: Charlotte

Kalshi probability: 42%

DC United come in unbeaten in their last three, but they've also managed just to score three goals in their last five outings. Charlotte has 10 goals in that same span, and offer value as a road favorite below 45% probability.

New England Revolution vs Orlando City pick: New England

Kalshi probability: 50%

There is value on New England in this spot. Orlando's five-match unbeaten run came to an end in Columbus on Wednesday in the US Open Cup, and they fielded a fairly strong side. The Revs return home after wins at Chicago and NYCFC, and only Nashville has claimed more points per match at home in the East.

CF Montreal vs Columbus Crew SC pick: Draw

Kalshi probability: 26%

Both Montreal and the Crew played mid-week and wonm with Montreal defeating Montreal in the Canadian Championship semi-finals. Fatigue is likely to be a factor, and neither club has shown consistent form. This is a great price for the draw.

San Jose Earthquakes vs LAFC pick: Draw

Kalshi probability: 24%

These sides don't like each other, and LAFC will want revenge for their 4-1 home defeat to San Jose in April. That San Jose side is long gone though, although their recent four-match unbeaten run has fans hopeful. LAFC have just one victory in their last eight in all comps, and the 3-1 shocking loss to Sporting KC has me leery to take them to win. The draw is the way to go.

FC Dallas vs Austin FC pick: Dallas

Kalshi probability: 57%

Austin have put together a decent run, with a shocking win in Vancouver giving them eight of a possible 12 points. But Dallas have taken 10 of 12, are 4-1-0 in their last five with Austin, and will have the advantage of Austin CB Guilherme Biro missing out due to suspension.

Houston Dynamo vs FC Cincinnati pick: Houston

Kalshi probability: 51%

Both clubs come in with just one win and two defeats in their last five matches, having faced some difficult sides in the process. But Houston does something Cincinnati does not—defend. FCC has conceded 12 goals in their last three matches, while Houston has allowed just two. That's why they'll get the victory.

Sporting Kansas City vs Philadelphia Union pick: Philadelphia Union

Kalshi probability: 59%

There isn't a hotter team in MLS right now than the Union, and Cavan Sullivan is tearing the league apart. Sporting pulled off a surprising win over LAFC last week, but their defense will have no answer for a Philly side with 15 goals scored in their last four matches.

Minnesota United FC vs LA Galaxy pick: Draw

Kalshi probability: 22%

The suspension to Minnesota RWB Kyle Duncan is a significant one for a side that struggles to generate chances. It also puts the replacement in a tough spot dealing with Chuckie Lozano, who is starting to link up with with Marco Reus. That said, the Galaxy have won just three of their last 30 away fixtures in MLS. This one will end level.

St. Louis CITY SC vs Toronto FC pick: St. Louis

Kalshi probability: 60%

The St. Louis steamroller can't be stopped, as their US Open Cup semi-final win on Wednesday saw them push their unbeaten streak to 17 matches in all competitions. Toronto must deal with the loss of Nelson Palacio for the season after just one match with the club, and do so away from home—where they've taken just nine of a possible 33 points.

Colorado Rapids vs Seattle Sounders pick: Colorado

Kalshi probability: 52%

The Rapids have dropped just nine points in 12 home matches this season, and have yet to share the spoils. The Sounders have done nothing but draw of late, with their last four fixtures ending all square. Their injury list continues to be a burden, and the only clubs to win in Colorado this season are St. Louis (twice) and Dallas. The Sounders aren't going to join that group, nor will they get a point.

Nashville SC vs Chicago Fire pick: Nashville

Kalshi probability: 54%

The Fire have been anything but of late, with their loss to New England last weekend seeing them woefully underperform their xG. Nashville's recent skid has come away from home, but they've won nine straight MLS fixtures at home and are unbeaten in 11 league outings at GEODIS Park. They'll get back to winning ways with a week's rest.

Real Salt Lake vs Vancouver Whitecaps pick: Vancouver

Kalshi probability: 53%

Vancouver was left stunned last week by Austin, and then fell midweek in the Canadian Championship to Montreal. But any hopes Real Salt Lake had of springing an upset went to the wayside with Thursday's news that Diego Luna's season is over due to a knee injury. The Whitecaps will get back on track against a reeling RSL side without its leader.

Portland Timbers vs Atlanta United pick: Portland

Kalshi probability: 46%

The addition of Breel Embolo has not solved Atlanta United's inability to get wins, as a 0-0 draw with DC United left them with two points from a possible 12 and all but eliminated from playoff contention. The Timbers are holding onto a playoff spot out West, and are 4-0-2 at home in league play since the World Cup break. They'll keep pace with the other playoff contenders and get all three points.

Inter Miami FC vs San Diego FC pick: Inter Miami

Kalshi probability: 67%

New Inter Miami maanger Kily Gonzalez will make his MLS managerial debut off the back of Wednesday's Campeones Cup victory over Cruz Azul, which saw their unbeaten run pushed to five matches. San Diego's cross-country trip will see them lose for the fourth match on the trot, although perhaps not as poorly as their 5-0 thrashing last weekend at the hands of Philly.

That said, as long as the probability on this one is north of 64%, it is a NON-PLAY.
