The Minnesota Twins are in a great position to take down the Houston Astros tonight with Joe Ryan on the hill.
Behind the righty's recent dominance, my Twins vs Astros predictions target a win for the visitors.

Who will win Twins vs Astros today: Twins (-112)
The Minnesota Twins hand Joe Ryan the baseball this evening. He's in great form, posting a 2.19 FIP over his last two appearances while allowing just 0.82 HR/9. Ryan has also compiled a respectable 3.82 FIP over the last month.
As for Houston Astros starter Mike Burrows, he has an alarming 6.65 FIP across his last five outings while allowing a 42.7% hard hit rate during that span.
Burrows comes up against a Twins offense swinging it well right now. They have a .262 average as a team across the last seven days and 106 wRC+.
Minnesota will add to Burrows' struggles, and Ryan will contain Houston.
I'll play this pick to -130.

Twins vs Astros Over/Under pick: Over 8.5 (+101)
While I do expect Ryan to bring his best tonight, the Twins' bullpen is a slight concern when he exits.
They own a 6.01 xERA across the last week while allowing 2.91 HR/9. Houston's offense has a .185 ISO over its last seven contests, and has the power to capitalize if Minnesota's relievers continue making mistakes.
Houston's bullpen has been much steadier with a 3.94 xERA over the last week, but I expect Minnesota's hot offense to do most of its damage against Burrows before the relievers enter. That should be enough to help push this game Over the total.
A 5-4, 6-4 scoreline is possible.
I'll play this pick to -120.
