The total bounced between 7.5 and 7 multiple times and is currently at 7 (Over -122), although ticket count and money are running 3/1 on the Over.

Starting pitchers
Tyler Mahle (1-1, 1.74 ERA): The 26-year-old is having a breakout season for the Reds, allowing just nine hits and four earned runs while striking out 31 across 20 2-3 innings in four starts. He's coming off an excellent performance against the Diamondbacks where he allowed just two hits over 6 2-3 scoreless innings.
Julio Urias (3-0, 2.81 ERA): Urias has oozed potential ever since making his big league debut for the Dodgers as a fresh-faced 19-year-old in 2016. The lefty is looking more than ready for a full-time rotation spot and is fresh off a dominant performance against the Mariners, where he allowed just one hit and fanned 11 batters through 7 innings of shutout ball.

Moneyline pick
The Dodgers squandered a 7-1 lead through six innings last night, eventually falling 8-7 in extra innings to the Padres. They ended up going just 1-3 in that home series against their NL West rivals and are now just 2-5 in their last seven games. That said, the Dodgers still have the best record in the majors and must be licking their chops as the struggling Reds roll into town.
The Reds are on a seven-game losing streak, to fall to 8-13, and are proving that their strong play at the beginning of the season was a fluke. Cincinnati is still leading the majors with 5.75 runs per game but that number has dropped to 4.14 runs per game over the last 14 contests, which seems much more in line with the Reds batting talent.
The Dodgers are much more talented and consistent at the plate, even with 2019 NL MVP Cody Bellinger sidelined with a leg fracture. Mookie Betts, Corey Seager, Justin Turner, and Max Muncy lead a star-studded lineup that ranks third in the majors with an OPS of .767.
Both starting pitchers in this game have looked terrific to start the year. However, Dodgers southpaw Urias has pitched close to this level for a few seasons while Cincinnati's Mahle is just two years removed from going 3-12 with a 5.14 ERA.
It's also worth mentioning that while the Dodgers bullpen blew last night's game against the Padres, they are still much better than the Reds relievers, who are 27th in the majors with a collective ERA of 5.31.
It's not very often that the Dodgers end up losing a home series but they are still 91-35 in their last 126 contests at Dodger Stadium and should be able to return to their dominance today against an ice-cold Cincy team.

Over/Under pick
So far in the 2021 season, we've seen pitchers emerge as a force to be reckoned with as low-scoring games have become the norm.
Cincinnati's Mahle has looked outstanding, pitching to a 1.74 ERA with a WHIP of 0.87 in four starts. He has been a strikeout machine with his fastball topping out at 98 mph and an average velocity of 94.7 mph.
Urias has also looked terrific and his changeup has been literally unhittable, with opposing batters going 0 for 23 against that offering. The 24-year-old southpaw has pitched to a 2.81 ERA with a 0.94 WHIP through four starts and will be taking on a Reds lineup that hits just .223 against lefties.
The Reds might be still ranked near the top of the majors in both scoring and OPS but they have been absolutely brutal on the road this season. Cincy is averaging just 2.67 runs per game in away contests while posting an OPS of .587, with both numbers ranking in the Bottom 4 of the MLB.
With the Dodgers 10-3 to the Under in their last 13 games against teams with a losing record and the Under also going 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings between these clubs, take the Under again.
