Blue Jays Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for World Series Game 3 on October 27

Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow is an electric pitcher, but he struggles with command. That will be music to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. & Co.'s ears in Game 3, as the Blue Jays are poised to work counts, draw walks, and do damage.

The World Series is heading West for Game 3, where the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Toronto Blue Jays with the series tied at 1-1.

Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow is the starter for tonight, and he has had command issues, making his walks market enticing against this pesky Blue Jays lineup.

Blue Jays World Series Game 3 best bet: Born to be Wild

Tyler Glasnow Over 1.5 walks (-115 at BET99)

Tyler Glasnow gets the ball for the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in a pivotal Game 3 matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays

The Dodgers starter has been terrific this postseason, allowing just one run on seven hits in 13 1/3 innings.

However, Glasnow has dealt with walk issues for the majority of the season. He ranks in the seventh percentile in walks, averaging 2.1 per game, while also ranking in the first percentile in chase rate.

These struggles have carried into the playoffs, where he’s walked 2+ batters in each of his three outings this postseason.

The Blue Jays are probably the last lineup Glasnow wants to face right now.

Toronto is baseball's peskiest lineup, averaging 3.2 walks per game this postseason before Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s gem in Game 2.

Additionally, Glasnow’s career numbers against the Jays aren’t all that sparkling either. He has a 1-4 record with a 5.82 ERA in 11 outings, where he’s gone Over the posted walks total 10 times over those appearances.

Two players who have been walking at an elite rate this postseason are Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and George Springer. Both have an OPS north of 1.000 against Glasgow, who has also walked five other current batters in Toronto’s lineup throughout his career.

Today’s Blue Jays Game 3 same-game parlay (SGP)

Tyler Glasnow Over 1.5 walks

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

George Springer Over 0.5 runs

Guerrero sees the ball well coming out of Glasnow’s hand, going 6-for-17 with a 1.123 OPS, including three extra-base hits. He’s also gone Over 1.5 bases in five of his last seven games this postseason.

For the final leg, I’ll add Springer to score a run. The leadoff man has a .500 OBP in 14 at-bats against Glasnow and has come around to score a run in three straight games due to the hot-hitting Jays lineup behind him.
