TSA workers struggling financially who have been working unpaid amid the latest government shutdown are being evicted from their homes and forced to sleep in their cars, acting TSA Administrator Ha Nguyen McNeill testified Wednesday.

“Many in our workforce have missed bill payments, received eviction notices, had their cars
repossessed and utilities shut off, lost their child care, defaulted on loans, damaged
their credit line, and drained their retirement savings,” McNeill told the House Homeland Security Committee.

There's no limit to the pain they're willing to inflict on TSA workers and the flying public, SUNDANCE .  It's crystal clear these sick people care more about illegal aliens than the citizens of this country  !

TSA union officials say arrival of ICE agents failed to reduce long lines of passengers at airports.  Undercutting Trump administration reason for deploying ICE agents.  Problem is ICE agents lack skills to do the job required of TSA agents.  They need months of certified training before screening passengers at checkpoints.  Furthermore, Trump tells ICE agents not to wear masks at airports which prove there is really no legitimate threat against ICE agents in public.  Police and other law enforcement officers often work without masks.

After a while you'd think those that are always on the short side of 80/20 or 90/10 issues would stop & consider that maybe they're part of the problem.

So, all they have left is emotions and narratives. So, they have to double down on those.

Even Haidt said years ago that we often feel first, then justify with reason afterward.  He is mostly correct I think.

But a lot of folks seem to even skip the last part because it is not supported by their presupposition(s).

In other words, folks will turn into a lawyer that attempts to defend a faulty position; instead of being a judge and naturally evaluating it.

 This is human nature and nobody is above base neural pathways no matter what political party they belong to. It is like you are saying if a ball is flying at your face then you will react to that potential event even if the event does not unfold the way your mind thinks it might.

The problem with your approach is you speak down to those who disagree with you by debasing them in messages like the above where you are implying that those who have an opposing position are so lost that they do as you suggested when in reality they have a position different than yours, nothing more and nothing less.

If you want to try and disparage someone and talk down as you are then you better be sure you are not just as complicit as those you are insulting and being a condescending elitist to.
