online poker only seems fixed I guess. I think they like to give out (at least on bodog) strong starting hands that will induce more action on the flop. The thing about bodog is the worse hand almost always holds up, meaning a 20% dog will win seemingly 80% of the time. Even if you are in a dominating position (ex. AA vs Q 10) on the flop your opp. will pick up a ridiculous amont of outs, and you just know your fucked. Then you gotta pray it holds up on the river. My AK has been beat so many times with all in preflops by garbage like 7 10 or 6 5 off suite that it gets mind boggling. You gotta know on bodog when to throw away a strong hand because it will get beat, and you gotta play a weak hand that will upset a strong hand.

lmfao. so Jonnie when did AK become an unbeatable holding??  when did AK become the nuts and mean it has to win everytime??

AK is just as strong as 65 and 710 preflop.... they are just 2 random cards...

learn to stop pushing allin just because you have an A, even if it is AK.  pick your spots, watch and learn then play your opponents, play position strong.

you guys just sound like fish and thats what we like. so keeping playing and feeding me money.

mogo- if u were in the wsop final table and u were short stacked, wouldn't u push all your chips in with AK? I highly doubt u would fold AK and wait to pick up 5 6 off suit and hope 2 get lucky

lmfao. classic. you sound like a 16 yr. old kid.....

we aren't talking about the wsop final table here... thats a whole different ballgame compared to your small online SnG

we are talking about 1 of a billion hands that you will be dealt and it is your job to play it accordingly. pushing AK just because its AK is not how you play poker. you will lose with it more times than you think.  it is not a made hand and can be easily beat .

paid to defend online poker in this type of forum.  It is definitly

mogo, what are you a super shill for online poker? Do you get
paid to defend online poker in this type of forum.  It is definitly
rigged.  The same thing happens all the time in the same
    situation.

Houseman or shill.  Their job is to promote their game.  Telling
players, "it is on the square, you can win".  That is what they do
get paid to do promote their game.  The one thing all shills have
in common is that they are sleeze balls.

nobody here gets paid by any of the online poker sites.  not a single one.  there are only a handful of people who do get paid, and they are all well known pros, and they can be found being promoted on the poker web sites.  go look them up and i can assure you none of them hang around this site.

the only way we get paid is at the tables by playing good poker.

that is why we want fish like yourself who suck at the game to keep playing, so we can take your money.  we want you to play b/c that gives us easy money to win at the table playing against a bad player like yourself.

so yes please keep playing online golfkat, please keep on playing, we all want your easy money....

I know they can be frustrating but do we really want them to leave?  Isn't that the reason we play, to make money?  Wouldn't you rather have fish or donks at your table?  I know I prefer a table of fish any day of the week.

some of the online sites, I would question their credibilty. There's just too many ways for you to get screwed.

    lol @ threads like these

    1) online poker is NOT rigged
    2) i honestly doubt this has happened to you 11 straight times where you get it in and lose to runner runner
    3) if it has, i'm sorry - but that's part of running bad.  i got my money in yesterday on a flop as a 99.3% favorite - and lost.  you must shake it off and go to the next hand..
    4) how would it be rigged?  they have hundreds of thousands of hands being played every minute.. you think they have a guy sitting there with a doomswitch waiting to put a bad beat on you?  get real.
    5) tournament poker is different than any other form of poker.  to win a tournament you must capitalize on small edges that are created during the tournament, as well as be lucky enough to have those small edges prevail and your hands hold up.

I played in 6 tournys the other night at allpro and in everyone I was in the top 50 or less and everytime I would make a big move with strong cards, someone would call me with garbage and catch a river flush or straight.

If it isn't rigged, something fishy is going on.

The only people making money on pokerstars are the "riggers", they know what hands they are preprogrammed to win.  Bank it.
