Hello Cover Friends,
What a great run we've had so far! Can we keep this momentum going?! ![]()
First off, I appreciate everyone who has been following along and taking the time to comment. I enjoy the conversations and look forward to keeping this winning madness going! Like I've said before, win or lose, I'm going to continue showing my work and letting my plays speak for themselves. I'm not going anywhere just because a few picks don't go my way. Losing is part of this business, and I understand that. My goal is to keep improving, stay consistent with my research, and hopefully turn something I truly enjoy into something I can pursue professionally. Along the way, I hope to make some good friends, share ideas, and most importantly, have some fun!
One thing I want to make clear about my handicapping approach:
My strategy of focusing on games with spreads ranging from pick'em to -3 applies ONLY to college football. That's where I prefer to find my edges in matchups that oddsmakers consider relatively even.
The NFL is a completely different approach for me. I use my own rating system, research, and matchup evaluations to determine where I see value. I don't limit myself to the same spread range as I do in college football.
At the end of the day, I'm not here to promise winners or pretend I have all the answers. I'm here to put in the work, share my opinions, and let the results speak for themselves.
With that being said, let's get down to business and see if we can keep this run alive!![]()
Todays Action:
Seattle Seahawks -3 (if you have -3.5, I suggest buying a hook) (small target)
Under 45.5 (Huge Target)
Why??
Tonight, I'm taking Under, and Seattle's defense is the biggest reason why. The Seahawks have been outstanding against both the run and pass, allowing just 158 passing yards per game and 3.5 yards per carry.
Seattle's offense has had its struggles all season, particularly with the lack of a consistent ground game, which has limited Sam Darnold's ability to take advantage of opposing defenses. However, Seattle has adjusted by relying more heavily on its defense, and I believe that could create problems for Chicago.
Keep in mind, Caleb Williams has only two games under his belt since returning, and playing in a tough road environment adds another challenge. I expect Seattle to make him uncomfortable and force Chicago to work for every point. I see stalled drives, longer possessions, and field goals instead of touchdowns. Both offenses have their challenges, and I believe this game stays lower scoring than the oddsmakers expect.
GIVE ME THE UNDER AND THROW ME A BEER PLEASE!! ![]()
