Merrimack finished last season with an Adjusted Tempo of 63.5 (348/365) and App State 63.0 (358/365). Both defenses have been much stronger than the opposing offenses in Efficiency ratings. App State was 19-12 to the Under last season and Merrimack 22-12. Merrimack was 6-0 to the Under in Neutral Court games last year. Not much has changed in terms of initial pace or style projections (Both bottom 15 in Adj Tempo in initial KenPom projections), and with a 6AM tip in the opening day marathon, this Under is locked in as my first play of the season.
