The question is I guess, two WHAT's? Hours? Minutes? I emailed back to try and clarify. Hope they have action for the next draw.

That's funny, on bet365 (bowmans), they also had no lines. I also putt $200 on Ontario win against Newfoundland earlier today and they still haven't paid me for it. I called and they said that they still aren't sure who won? I told them to go to tsn.ca, lol to check it out, and the guy just said they still need to confirm who won.... Like wtf?

Can you keep us updated as to what it means? Thanks.

Looks like we'll have lines for the next draw very soon given the time.

I got paid out/graded for the early games on Pinnacle so I wonder what their deal was on the afternoon draw? I tried to get an explanation on that but got nothing, even after explaining to them that The Brier is on Canadian national station TSN and that a lot more Canadians might bet on it if they'd make it more accessible and not sandwiched in the Other category with the likes of Bandy and Rink Hockey (whatever that is).

Good news although I woke up too late for the morning draw...really wanted some mid day action on curling...at least we'll see some tonight??? hopefully.

Thanks for the update guys. I hung around here till ten minutes before game time and saw nothing. Based on the e-mails Ang and I got at the beginning, I don't think they will post lines, unless they get a read of another books first. So no lines by 365, could very well mean no lines by Pinny.

I think it would have been a profitable afteroon, as I was big on the BC over and NOnt outright. I also though, would have been on MB who are losing. Stoughton rarely has bad, back to back games, but from what I saw in the hightlights, Park is having another terrible game. For all of the overs in this spiel, the one consistent under team is NB and they appear headed in that direction again.

Hopefully we are back on track with some evening lines soon.

Confirmed from Pinny just now there will be lines tonight.

 

A matchup with some history Howard 15 -10 all time vs Stoughton, but in the more recent history 8-3. Totals are about split when they meet.

Stoughton's team also has to be a bit tired from all the hard brushing they've been doing in this Nfld. game, not to mention demoralized having dropped 2 in a row. I expect Ontario to be in the -250 area.

And OF COURSE BC takes care of business easily in the YK/NWT game. Seems like I can't win with them...

NOnt should be a great pic against PEI but don't know what kind of price they'll be getting. I figure it's gotta be in the -300 area.

SK should take care of 1-7 YK/NWT too. Their only win came WITHOUT their skip, so read into that what you want. Might be a pretty big price too even though Sask isn't a world beater as by now everyone should be on to fading the Territories. Maybe -200?

Beam made a good point about NB's under record so far so I might just play that vs Quebec. I've been on the wrong side of Que a few times now as I just can't accept that they're any good... but I guess I'm wrong. Prob gonna stay away from the side in this game, which I'd guess to be favouring Que around -170.

Now let's just get those lines out!

Ya, just laid a big 6 unit bet on NO at -320. Line went way up right after, but now back to -288.

Took Ont for 3 units at -220, now at -210.

No totals/spreads yet.

Added 3 units on Sask at -208.

I don't have a 365 account but just checked out of interest. If you have both, lay a big bet on both and be gauranteed AT WORST your money back if Que wins.

Yeah I bet on bet365, lines are up. 

At +205 even NB is getting tempting against those (presumably) cheese eating, cigarette smoking, depaneur visiting Quebec'ers.

I played Quebec at 5 units at even money. I then went back and played 5 more, hoping that they don't cancel the bet. Again, 10 units is not the confidence in the bet so much, just that the line is too good to pass up.

 

I also played Ontario/Sask/NO parlay, at 4 units to win 6.74 units.

Ontario -1.5, 5 units to win 5.5 units. I may lose this and I do think the moneyline is the safer play, but Park is struggling and you can't be having a guy having a tough game against Ontario. Also on the under 12.5, 2.67 units to win 2.5

Terr/Sask over 12.5, 3.48 units to win 3. Koe should go write another exam to give his team a shot.

N.O. vs PEI -1.5, 4.38 units to win 3. over 12.5, 2.34 units to win 1.8.

Que/NB under 12.5, 3.5 units to win 3.64. Que -1.5, 2.15 to win 2.

Good to see you got on that Quebec line over at 365 Beam. I refuse to bet FOR them as they will likely screw me, and I don't have the balls to bet against them either. I'll sit that one out.

Staying away from the totals for now and just hoping that my big 3 faves win their games (Ont, NOnt, Sask).

Well, I hope the game does not play out like the BC game last night, where I went to too much on a middle of the pack team. This isn't so much a bet on Quebec as it is a bet against New Brunswick.

 

Went back and added 3.7 more units on the N.O -1.5, to win 2.5 and also the under in the NB/Que game, 1.5 units for close to even money.

Looknig for some help...thoughts about Sask -1.5, NO -1.5... I haven't been able to watch today or follow closely. Would it be a big gamble to take Manitoba at +205?

I prefer N.O the most of the three. There is nothing appealing about PEI, NS or NWT, and I think that N.O. is the hotter squad than Sask, so that is why I went heavy on the kids.

If Park was playing better, I think that +200 would be a great bet, but I didn't like what I saw for the first five ends today. I didn't see the second half of the game, so perhaps Manitoba picked up their socks, but they sure seem to be struggling. Good luck either way.

Went back and signed up for Bet365 as I couldn't pass up this stupid huge hedge opportunity.

Bet $165 (max bet) at 365 on Quebec to win $165
Bet $82.91 at Pinny on NB to win $165

NB was paying 2.99 on Pinny, and Quebec 2.00 on 365. Worst case, NB wins and I break even but if Quebec wins (as I'm hoping) I'll profit $165-$82.91=$82.09.

No risk=easy money. Wish the max bet on 365 was bigger as I'd hammer it for as much as they'd let me. Maybe THIS is why Pinnacle didn't offer lines for the afternoon session? This is crazy.

Still a reasonable hedge opp. exists but Quebec is down to 1.9 and NB down to 2.81 on respective sites.

Watch out...Quebec game taken off the board at Bet365. I'd be ready to hedge your bet at Pinny 'cause they may cancel it...
