I am on China as well. Rough morning for me, Japan over was never close.



I like China this afternoon, Scots -1.5 and the under in their game and Denmark/Japan over (yes going to the well one more time).

 

Tonight at first glance I really like the Canada/Scotland under and Germany -1.5

I am on China ML, Scotland -1.5, Scotland ML, Denmark/Japan over, Germany/Latvia under.

But this tournament has sucked for me so I don't expect a great afternoon.

No, just an average bet always on curling because they are so unpredictable...I am going to lose on Scotland -1.5. I was hesitant with Scotland because of the match with Canada tonight but thought they would make sure to take care of Russia first.

What are you liking for the night draw? I kind of like Scotland on the ML +199 and that might be it.

I would have been all over Scotland +1.5 at + money had they won...but now, not so sure. I guess the winner still gets first though, huh? Hmm...

I don't know. Like the under.

Ya, I'm going to be on Scotland in someway because Canada's already clinched a berth in the Page 1-2 and Scotland needs this one. Hate going against Canada but 2 to 1 odds, I like in a match that will be close. Maybe +1.5 I'm off the totals though...can't figure them out.

Yeah, I'm usually way better at sides than totals, but this afternoon I went 2-3 winning both totals and losing all 3 sides. It's been a rough week...

Thank heavens for the Japan over. What was with that score in the Germay game.... wild?

I just hammered Sweden tonight, China is now out of contention and as Ang pointed out early in the week they were fatigued from the get go and now I can't see them getting up for a nothing game tonight. Really like the Canada under tonight and at the moment leaning towards the Den/Norway over

Took Scotland +1.5 -107 and Sweden -1.5 +153 for tonight's action.

Ya, that sucked. Jones was perfect, then gave Muirhead a chance and she blows it by drawing through and that was the end of it. Sweden blew chunks. I'm drinking now.

But still hoping Xavier comes through, going to 2OT now.

4-2, they flip to the highlight of Sweden/China, and our skipper only has to hit the eight foot, for one. She has two Chinese rocks in the back 12 she can draw down too and what does she do? Fires it wide and heavy through the house, to give up a steal. Not even close. I have no confidence in them or the States tomorrow in the tiebreaker game.

 

Scotland would be scary if she had a decent third.

Xavier game was great until the last minute. This was Black Thursday, if I have ever seen one.

China seemed to always have a ton of rocks in play every end.

Jones made some great shots early but Scotland still had their chances. I like Canada tomorrow and if I play anything, that will be it, depending on the line. Jones has a solid team in front of her and I think she wins it all. Going to stay away from that tiebreaker, not even going to look at it.

Well, I decided I would make a few plays here. I'm thinking USA/Sweden having to get up early and play their first playoff game are going to be very conservative and maybe blank the first couple ends. So I am going under and USA +1.5.

In the night game, I think you'll see lots of rocks in play and Jones will be aggressive. She can score 3 in any end and will also give up 2 or 3 here and there. So I am going over and Canada -1.5.

Ang, with you totally, but also sprinkled the moneyline on the U.S. When I was it was +148, that had some appeal to me. Sweden, went from the playoffs to a tiebreaker and let the States off the mat in the process. I don't have a lot of confidence in either of these teams, so may as well take the value. I went on the over for both games, but more so the night game. I am seeing conflicting times for this tiebreaker game as the Season of Champions site says it is not until the afternoon.

With all due respect to Andrea, I think Canada should win without too much trouble and have gone big with you Ang, on the -1.5 line tonight.

Oh no...if the game is in the afternoon, I'm not sure how much I like the under.

Well, hit the over, lost the States bet. Didn't really like either of those teams a lot and feel Scotland should win tomorrow.

 

Like Canada a lot tonight and lean to the over.

 

Took a look at the Men's Worlds teams and noticed that Murdoch is not skipping Scotland. A few of the Olympics teams are back there.

Wow, I give up. I just can't figure these teams out at all...

Only N. Iowa  and lucky that was it because I was leaning Ohio St. and St. Mary's but didn't play them. All in all it was not a good day. I like playing the NLL but lost on both my bets tonight.

The curling has me right now and will layoff until the final, maybe a homer bet if Canada can get to the final. Don't think Germany can beat Canada 3 times in a row. But who the hell knows.

Got slaughtered in that 1-2 playoff game as I had Canada and the Over. Taking Scotland -1.5 and Over 13.5 at plus money. Not very confident about either though. Hasn't been a very good tournament for me...
