Biggest point missed is that okc came into that game unprepared monthly n trailed forost of game thinking they can just turn it on. After losing to suns mainly because lack of defense effort brooks will have these guys ready. The cover against Denver was a fluke. Denver is such a porous defense allowing layups all day. Not touching but would say IOC is better play

This line is now a mere 1.5 from what the NBDL team who can't cover against anyone, was getting against the Mavs after they dumped the rest of their team outside of Michael Carter Williams.
Folks, the Lakers are not comparable to that. Not in the least. And yes, I know the Mavs aren't OKC, but the Mavs are high powered enough to blow you out.
And the Lakers are AT HOME. Getting OVER a dozen. Wow...
The choice is obvious.

Ah yes, they came in unprepared.
They had only won a ridiculous 14 of 16 beating everyone.
This is where people give TOO much credit to the great teams.
When they win, you expected it.
When they lose, you say they were unprepared.
Can't have it both ways.
I saw how the Lakers played that night.
With 8 guys, a ton of injuries, a guy on a 10-day contract and no bench, they lead OKC for 3.5 quarters and as everyone expected them to give up the lead in the third, they didn't, they even lead by 10 after I'm sure was a stern tongue lashing by the head coach.
Today, they are MUCH better, healthier, ON national TV after their last national TV embarrassment, are returning home after the biggest embarrassment in franchise history, and HAVE to show something after getting their heads bashed in by the Clippers and getting scorched defense wise over three games.
Who would you rather play in this spot? The Jazz? The Sixers?
For what? What would you have proven?
No, today we get the best of the best in the west!
And there will be something to prove.
All this, and the books are giving us OVER A DOZEN POINTS AT HOME???

You forgot to mention that OKC-LAL game was the final game before the All Stat break. OKC appeared to be on cruise control the first 3 quarters (maybe looking ahead). But they turned it on late and there was nothing LAL could do. I expect OKC not to be in cruise control today until they're up big.

Always a great write up, but I'm going to have to disagree here bud. I think saving face should've been playing against the team that represents their same city. I guess we all know who now is the superior between the la teams. Only person that really impresses me is Pau Gasol within that lakers roster and no one else. Everybody in OKC impresses me so I'll take the huge favorite tonight against the hapless lakers. GL with yours bud.
