I kinda was thinking Miami and OKC don't cover anyway.
I was thinking Miami as well but the more I researched this game, the more I was pulled away from the Miami game and towards LA (with a line that keeps rising against the Heat (bad- public love for the heat) instead of for them like the a lakers (good - Public love for OKC).)

I was so focused on Westbrook I forgot to get to Thabdo and Perkins.
This article sums up their impact, YET ANOTHER REASON to back the Lakers today:
In the Thunder’s first five years of existence, just four opponents scored 40 points in a quarter. This season, four teams already have scored 40 plus in a quarter and three have done it in the last SIX games.
In its six years of existence, the Thunder has scored at least 122 points 22 times. Last night's 128-122 loss at Phoenix was the first time OKC had lost in regulation – 15-1 in regulation and 5-1 in overtime.
The Thunder has lost four of its last seven games and in those four losses, opponents are averaging 117.5 points, shooting 51.2 percent from the field, 42.3 percent from the 3-point line and 5.5 more rebounds.
Thunder coach Scott Brooks insists defense remains his priority, but that’s tough to do when your two best one-on-one defenders are sidelined for another month.
Kendrick Perkins and Thabo Sefolosha might not have necessarily mattered in every game they've missed, but isn’t it interesting how two supposedly dispensable players now seem a little more important.
Brooks still expects defense, demands defense and stresses defense. Trouble is, he not getting nearly enough defense.

The Lakers have a glimmer of love all the way in Sweden because of this write up.
If you can convince a capper in Sweden the lakers are the right side over OKC, you've done your capping duty.

Don't be. Whenever you are getting 10+ you are either backing an awful team or playing a great one. When you are getting 10+ at home, it's always both. But you'll never get this kind of spread otherwise. Ya take it or leave it or lay it.

The Thunder simply do not have the incentive to annihilate the Lakers like the Clippers did. That makes this number quite large.

). Folks, this game is also on ABC which is bigger than ESPN in terms of viewers.
The Lakers became a national embarrassment on Thursday night at the Staples Center. Now this is their first game back home and it will be televised nationally. They HAVE to show something here to save face for the disgrace they put on only 3 days ago.
So to sum up we get:
1) A BOATLOAD of points (We do not have to win or even come close to winning and the Lakers showed they can backdoor a spread and keep fighting as they did when they backdoored the Nuggets)
2) A completely revamped lineup with huge upgrades on the Lakers
3) A much better Laker bench
4) A Thunder team 3-4 SU since Westbrook returned
5) A nationally televised game after the Laker brass called an emergency meeting with the head coach (remember when this happened with the Knicks with Dolan and Woodson? They won outright the very next game.)
There is only one thing left to do and the choice is obvious. Don't let a single game EVER dictate sides in future games like the Clipper game is doing to squares.
One last thing.
