MGM going to be down 1.50 to 2 bucks today, but I bet you know that already.

Anyone got an opinion on YGE? It's selling at a nice discount today today and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on it.

It isnt on sale just yet, I dont see a great reason to buy it today personally.

"mo money, mo money, mo money" in LVS. got clipped on the MGM stock offering news, which is the same thing that too thier stock down in feb-march. early interday of 9.16 and I was able to get 3k @ 9.21. now back to 9.88.
 
with the oodles of shorts these ain't going down that much. best day trades are STILL on the long side.

and OUT of LVS @ 9.78. I will take the quick dime and a half and see what happens.

MAY get another shot at LVS in the low 9. lower highs on the up moves today and lower lows after that early 9.16. it's around 9.50 right now so I may go long for another bounce IF I see 9.30 or below.
 
btw, STILL no LVS stock to short @ TD Ameritrade.

i hate the word "due" but we're due for a a -10% type week or 3 day stretch

the previous two months' run up is unsustainable. if things look cheap because they are off 30% from their highs, check their Jan/Feb lows and look to that floor for an entry

if that doesnt work, sit cash and wait

I agree, walls. I just blew out @ 9.24. all my gamers breaking their lower end up trends so they look lower. will have to consult the tea leaves for a new entry point.
 
in retro that SKF was a steal below $40 the other day. don't think it would ever see $300 again BUT could get a double or triple IF the banks tank again.

this is the first real "everythings red" selloff I have seen in a couple months. like KOAJ said, we have been "due" so will see how far it goes.

LVS bounced off 9 and just below (interday 8.94) a couple times here. will see what the last hour brings.

LVS down to an interday of 8.90 then back over 9 again (current 9.10). looks like it COULD bounce.
 
MGM and BYD holding above their interdays here going into the last two hours.

The American consumer is completely tapped out, and we have hardly seen the worst of layoffs...far from it.

 The demise of GM is written on the wall, and while it has been for  so many years, this time, is real time. Bye bye GM...Decades of bad decisions by labor and execs do have consequences. The psychological and fiscal impact of that is going to trump the busload of babblers seeing "green shoots."

 (By the way, anyone who uses cant  like that, buzzwords like "thinking out of the box" "branding" "team player"...note them, as they are the dunces referred to in the line by Swift:"When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that all the dunces are in confederacy against him."

  Print as much money as you like...demographics is fate.And while in a quoting mood:

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Corp plans to start importing Chinese-made cars into the United States in 2011 as a way of lowering manufacturing costs, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday on its Web site. The plan, outlined in documents submitted to Congress, calls for the automaker to import 17,335 vehicles it makes in China in 2011, with that number growing to more than 38,000 in 2012 and more than 53,000 in 2013, according to the Journal.

MGM really getting rammed. just hit 9.23 interday with just over an hour and a half to go. their chart really looks like the 6-7 area again. could very well fill that 6-8 gap just like the 9.50-11.50 gap fill today. IF that happens, under the rule of "when they raid the whorehouse they take the piano player too" it should effect ALL the active trading gamers

gaming stock bears got PAID today. all four closed near their daily lows.
 
checked the charts and they ALL look like they could real easy take a 30-50% hair cut from their recent highs. will see what happens tomarrow.

WOW!!! really getting nasty with the gamers in the after market. MGM hit 7.56 with a current 8.06 and LVS 8.15 low and bidding lower. WYNN 39.45 with a 39.36 low.

looks REALLY nasty for tomarrow. these may get to "correction" buy points faster than I thought.

Oh Bollocks!!! this is just TOO much in the aftermarket for LVS!!! bot 2k @ 8.08 for any bounce tomarrow and will ADD if it gets hit again.

FAZ surging to $6.29.  People who got in at the high 4's got a STEAL.

I kept going back and forth but never pulled the trigger.  Worried about getting in now after 3 straight days but could miss a nice run.  Oh well.  Will hang out for now.

They are just taking everything down afterhours.  Wow.  DRYS could cross in to $5 territory.

Wall you unload those DRYS shares you got in the 3's?  I hope so.

in at 4.85

if it gets below 6 i will buy some more...rather waiting for a 1-2%+ day so i can buy more. government cant continue to run this market like theyve done for 8 weeks...people dont buy it

I swear playing the gamers are as wierd as betting a sports team. I was hoping to see another couple points down today, which I guess could still happen as it's only 11:30 edt, BUT right now, ex for MGM with the over reaction to their "dilution", their all flat or up.
 
guess I shouldn't bitch 'cause I'm up a buck on my LVS overnight buy BUT now have to wait and see. yesterday was loony tunes.

well now the turkeys are running to the other end of the yard. just sld my 2k LVS @ 9.68 and will wait for another pullback  thought about a 1k short when it hit 9.70+ BUT I've had THAT shoved up my ass before so
 
btw, looks like MGM could still fill that gap to 6. down on the day with an early interday low of 7.25. current right around 8.
 
also still NO MGM or LVS (some this am but none now) to short at TD.
