I was reading a lot last night and its clear. If this keeps up for a few months, our economy will be so so bad that it will kill and hurt more people than this virus ever will. They do not understand this. Again, they just want a socialist check in the mail and do not want to actually make money for themselves. If they think life sucks right now, they should wait and see what it will look like during the great depression of 2020s later on...
Stanford scientists/doctors are suggesting that the actual death rate is 1/10th of the flu death rate which is 0.01. This is because they believe that millions actually have the virus already with most being asymptomatic or just with mild symptoms like a sniffle or cough. They also suggest that many have recovered already.
I can see this being partly true because the testing in America right now is not good. No one is to blame for this but currently, it is like that. For instance, a family member, who works in a hospital, has been sick for the past week with similar symptoms to Covid-19. They were advised to stay home for at least a week and use their own sick days because they are showing symptoms. But they will not test her because she is not in critical condition. This must mean that tests really are that flawed if they will not even test their own workers. This then does cause a huge issue. If she goes back to work next week, she could still be a carrier and pass it on to a patient of older age. I again do not blame anyone for this. Its just where we currently are. It should improve in this country in the next weeks, testing wise.
