Years ago, global health security index rank US as best prepared country against pandemics because of Bush and Obama administration. The richest country in the world should suffer less than other countries. Instead US is on trajectory to suffer more sickness, more dying and more economic damage from coronavirus than any other developed country. China is ahead on the road to economic recovery. South Korea is gradually recovering without shutting down much of its economy because of early response and greater testing per capita. Denmark plans to reopen schools during the middle of April. Germany has the among the lowest coronavirus death rates in the world. According to doctor Fauci, the US is still struggling and the worst is yet to come.

They exaggerate their accomplishments, focus obsessively on projecting power, and wish desperately to win. What that means, during this pandemic: Trump says we’ve got plenty of tests available, when we don’t. He declares that Google is building a comprehensive drive-thru testing website, when it isn’t. He sends a Navy hospital ship to New York and it proves little more than an excuse for a campaign commercial, arriving and sitting almost empty in the Hudson. A New York hospital executive calls it a joke.
The grandiosity of narcissistic personalities belies an extreme fragility, their egos as delicate as foam. They live in terror of being upstaged. They’re too thin skinned to be told they’re wrong. What that means, during this pandemic: Narcissistic leaders never have, as Trump likes to say, the best people. They have galleries of sycophants. With the exceptions of Drs. This particular NY Hospital executive wouldn't harbor any political ill will towards Trump, would he/she ?? It's up to the Governors and local authorities of NY & NJ to figure it out. Trump opened up the ship to use by NY & NJ, and also Chinese Virus and non-Chinese Virus patients. So what are you complaining about ?? The local authorities need to get their shit together.

Your NY Times article referenced that initially the ship was not open to Chinese Virus patients... But that changed this week with Mr. Trump. Both Chinese & non-Chinese Virus Patients are accepted !!

As time goes on , we are learning much more about the Chinese Virus... for starters , doctors are observing that this Virus effects the body in so many different ways ; central nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, muscle skeletal system, and digestive system . This is unlike other viruses in its behavior. At its core, doctors are noticing that the intense inflammation caused by the Chinese Virus is causing blood clots. This is leading to cases of strokes and pulmonary embolism in otherwise healthy people... even those under 50.... This is nothing to mess around w people.... do your part and wear a face mask when out in public.
